Seventeenth year, eighth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president, last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
New business:
Since there were no other items on the agenda the election of the officers was carried out. The following members were elected for the term of one year: Wilhelm Hohlt was elected for president, Wilhelm Büscher was elected for vice president, Friedrich Stickan was elected for secretary and Philip Ott for treasurer. It was decided against paying an extra thaler for funeral cost. A committee was formed to audit the book keeping of the previous year. Wilhelm Wishmeier, Henry Weghorst and A. Wacker were appointed to serve on it. It was put up for discussion that the Zims community is requesting a monetary loan from the Society. The issue was tabled until next meeting.
At this point the meeting was adjourned.
