somit kam die Merheit auf Müllers Band for dieβe Bänd zu bestellen wurd dem Segretär
übergeben

Twenty-fifth year, sixth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president and the minutes were approved as well as read.
It was decided to organize a ball as always on Thanksgiving day. H. Weghorst and H. Hohlt were appointed the committee to order music. The tickets’ price was set as last year. Willhelm Hohlt and Wilhelm Mashmeijer were appointed the committee to order the tickets. Instead of putting ads in the newspaper it was decided to have 200 flyers printed and posted in businesses. This task was given over the ticket committee as well. The following members were elected to work at the cash register: Ch. Hörper, K. Grünwald, Will. Wischmeijer and H. Lösche. Ham.
Schönemann, L. Lang, Wagenfeld and F. Niemann were appointed ushers. A. Grande and Will Hohlt will be floor managers and Fridrig Stigan will man the wardrobe. The price for supper was set to be 35 cents. Friedrig Niemeyer requested a month long extension for his paying the interest on his loan. It was decided to acknowledge this in a written document so that if he doesn’t pay the interest until next January the contract he has with the society may be pronounced broken.
At this point the meeting was adjourned.

Right after we adjourned the president opened the floor again as some members expressed the opinion they would not come to the ball if we don’t vote on which music band to have play at the ball. So a vote was held to choose between Müller’s and the Union Band and the majority voted for Müller’s Band. The secretary was instructed to hire the band.
After this, the meeting was adjourned again.
