Learning goals/competencies

Students are able to apply investigation of diseases based on epidemiologic and skill as well as knowledge in veterinary public health.

Description/Syllabus

Internship materials including quality and microbiology of food of animal origin and its processing product in connection with food safety and public health (3 weeks in laboratory).

Concept and principal of epidemiology, plan of sampling and sample size, several diseases investigation study, administration system, Structure of animal husbandry department and animal quarantine (3 weeks in the field).

Evaluation is done by testing student ability on skill and knowledge in veterinary public health. Control and management of zoonosis diseases, milk and meat hygiene, HACCP, environment health, quarantine, veterinary legislation ( 6 weeks).
