Because of these problems, the researcher used a new media to improve their reading skills using newspaper. Based on the above explanation, the researcher thinks that the Jakarta post can be used to teach reading as a media to improve students' reading skills.

Based on some previous findings, the researcher concludes that the use of articles in teaching use Jakarta Post has a significant impact and it is more effective than teaching reading by using Jakarta Post.

Subject and purpose of the study 1. The subjects of this research are tenth grade students of SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Purbolinggo. It means that the classroom action research activities were based on planning, action and observation, after which the researcher could make a reflection to determine the next cycle.

In this step, the researcher observes the process of teaching learning by using observation format to collect data. The researcher reviewed and reflected on the students' activity and teacher performance, whether it is positive or negative, second cycle enough or need for the next step. At the first meeting, the researcher gave the students some questions, it was called a pre-test.
A post-test was administered at the last meeting after the treatments were completed to determine whether or not the treatments contributed to student achievement in the classroom. Improvement could be seen if the mean score after the test was higher than before the test. In this present research, observation is used to know the teacher's performance (in teaching using Jakarta newspaper) and the students' activities.

Data Collecting Instrument
Documentation is a tool to collect some information in the form of written source or document such as books, magazines, daily notes, etc. To analyze the data, the researcher calculated data for the average rates of pre-test (X-pre) and post-test (X-post ) using formula as follows.14. Then the researcher will calculate the percentage of students' activities during the teaching learning process in each cycle.
Then the researcher will compare the before and after test to find out the result. If some students fail from the first cycle, they would conduct the second cycle. The minimum cycle in CAR (Classroom Research) is two cycles; if all students have been successful since cycle II, the cycle can be stopped until cycle II.

In this session, the researcher observed and got the result of the student's Post-Test 1 in Cycle I. The Students Post-Test 1 Reading Comprehension Result in Cycle I No Name Score Total Criteria. Based on the table above, the result of pre-test and post-test 1 has a deviation.
Pre-test and post-test Explanation 1 stated that the student's reading scores increased. In this session, the researcher observed and obtained the result of the post-test 2 of the student in cycle II. Based on the above table, the result of post-test 1 and post-test 2 have a deviation.
From the table above, it can be seen that the assessment of students in posttest 2 is very diverse.
Discussion
From the explanation, the researcher concludes that the research is successful, and it can be stopped in cycle II because the success indicator 83% of students who got score ≥75 is reached. Based on the result of the learning process on two cycles, the researcher wants to describe the conclusion that the use of Jakarta Post newspaper as media is used to improve students' reading skills at tenth grade of SMK Ma'arif NU 1 purbolinggo, as follows. Using Jakarta Post Newspaper can improve the student's reading skill in the tenth grade of SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Purbolinggo.
This means that the result of cycle 2 has already reached the indicator of success which was that 83% of the students achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC). The use of Jakarta Post Newspaper can improve the student's learning activity in the tenth grade of SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Purbolinggo. It can be seen from the result of reflection that the student's activities during cycle pre-test were passive.
