English learning would be meaningful when the teacher could integrate the teaching process into the character development of the students. Therefore, the researcher planned to find out the effect when the teacher disciplines the performance of his/her role as a teacher, if the student's character would be better. Here the researcher focuses more on the discipline of the teachers and the character of the students by conducting research through observation and interview with some teachers in SMP Aisyiyah Paccinongang.
One of them, namely Rahimi, conducted research in 2015 titled "The Role of Teachers' Classroom Discipline in their Teaching Effectiveness and Students' Language Learning Motivation and Achievement. The researcher limits the influence of the teacher's discipline to the students' characteristics in the learning teaching process, the students' grade in the learning teaching process in the seventh grade of SMP Aisyiyah Paccinongang The previous related studies that have been conducted to investigate the influence of the teacher's discipline on the students' grade in the learning process in various case studies are expected to help the researcher as her literature in writing this research .
Bonginkosi Abel Mitsetfwa (2006) in his thesis "The Impact of Time Consciousness in Schools and on Teaching and Learning" found that he compared two schools that assessed a strong and weak teaching and learning culture using observational approaches of school management and time levels . Makrwarela David Dzivani (2000) in his thesis "The Role of Discipline in the School and Class Management" found that this study uses qualitative to answer how important it is to maintain discipline in the school, according to the results obtained, that the motivation and work of the teaching team as a role model for important. The teacher should supervise the students and the activities that should lead to the realization of the learning objectives (Gearheart, Wieshahn and Gearheart 1988:55).
In this cycle, “the more students perceive that their teacher cares about them, the more they will care about the class and the more likely they will be to pay attention in class and, as a result, learn more material” (Teven & McCroskey, 1997, p. 167). Caring, a form of character that makes a person have a caring attitude and concern for others and social conditions in the neighborhood. Responsibility, a form of character that makes a person responsible, disciplined and always doing things as well as possible 7.
Building the character of students in any educational environment means the efforts made by the institution in the framework of forming the character of students. The research was descriptive qualitative research which would describe the impact of students on the teacher's discipline in the characteristic students in the teaching process. The next step the researcher would conduct the interview of the influence of the discipline of the teachers on the character of the students and also the interview of the students about the character of the teacher in learning.

The researcher chose an English teacher because the English teacher in SMP, Aisyiyah Paccinongang, was known for her discipline in reaching class on time, and her teacher was more diligent and disciplined in teaching. The researcher chose the English teacher and observed the teacher's discipline upon her arrival to the classroom at school. English classes took place in the seventh grade of SMP Aisyiyah Pacinongang for a month. English teachers could arrange teaching lessons so that there were no noisy students in the classroom.
The English teacher could provide teaching aids, textbooks, dictionaries and Oxford to make learning easier for the students. The English teacher always conducted interviews with students to find out what problems exist among students learning English. Discipline of the English teacher in SMP Aisyiyah Pacciongang had a positive impact on the students, is discipline in terms of the diligence of the English teacher who comes to school.
A culture of discipline created in classroom teaching by an English teacher at SMP Aisyiyah Painongang. The students were excited about learning when the English teacher came to class on time. More students understood or knew the material when the English teacher entered the classroom on time.

FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
Discussion
Based on the findings, it was presented that the form of teacher discipline is categorized into two data, i.e. the teacher's punctuality and the teacher's. The discipline of teachers in arriving on time has a positive effect on building the character of students in their diligence, either in arriving or in completing the tasks given by the teacher, he supports (Todd Smith, 2017). Like the strategy used by the English teacher, SMP Aisyiyah Paccinongang was more oriented to the preventive discipline strategy, where the teacher gives the students suggestions and choices to improve when the teacher offered verbally.
Creating a culture of discipline in the classroom was also a good example for students, for example when the English teacher dressed neatly and politely and did not interact, and also became a culture for VIIAG class students at SMP Aisyiyah Painongang. Another form of teacher discipline is classroom management. Classroom management encourages students to do assignments and the English teacher always conducted interviews with students to learn what problems exist among students learning English. This made students more focused on the material provided by the teacher. focused both on the material and on the students during learning. It is supported by the Great Schools Partnership; 2014. Based on the discussions from the study in SMP Aisyiyah Paccinongang, Ibu Nur Hasanah Ak, S.Pd, as an English teacher had good classroom management skills.
There are certain forms of teacher's discipline, namely in terms of punctuality, both arriving at the class on time and also and leaving the class, also application of classroom management. The influence of teacher's discipline in terms of time and the application of classroom management gave a positive influence on students in increasing the enthusiasm to learn, students diligently entered the classroom and did the tasks by the teacher. The core of the conclusion above was that the influence of teacher's discipline in terms of time and the application of classroom management had a positive influence on students.

Bagi guru bahasa Inggris, menjadi guru yang profesional merupakan tanggung jawab setiap guru, untuk itu kedisiplinan seorang guru dapat mengubah karakter siswa dari karakter yang buruk menjadi karakter yang lebih baik. Apakah guru bahasa Inggris Anda mengapresiasi atau memanfaatkan setiap waktu saat pelajaran bahasa Inggris berlangsung? Apakah ada siswa yang datang terlambat ke kelas pada saat pelajaran bahasa Inggris sedang berlangsung?
Apakah Anda mengetahui lebih banyak materi, kapan guru bahasa Inggris masuk kelas lebih awal untuk mengajar/tidak terlambat? Akankah siswa yang sering absen/malas masuk kelas menjadi rajin ketika guru bahasa Inggris masuk kelas tepat waktu? Akankah siswa yang sering bolos/malas masuk kelas menjadi rajin ketika guru bahasa Inggris masuk kelas?
