Workload: Total workload is 4.5 ECTS, which consists of 2.5 hours lectures, 3 hours structured activities, 3 hours independent learning, 16 week per semester, and a total 136 hours per semester including mid exam and final exam.

Requirements according to the examination regulations:
Students have attendance at least 80% on analytic Geometry class and registered as examinees in the academic information system.

After completing this course the student should have:
CLO1: Ability to understand and apply some of concept in plane geometry
CLO2: Ability to understand and apply some of concept in space geometry
Content: Topics:
1. Plane Geometry : Cartesian coordinates and polar coordinates, parametric representation of curve in the plane, line equations, definition of two parallel lines and perpendicular, the angle between the two lines, the distance of the point to the line, the equation of the conic section (ellipses, parabola, and hyperbolas),

2. Space Geometry: plane equation, definition of parallel and perpendicular, the distance of point to plane, line equations, area equations, intersection of quadrics, coordinates systems (cartesian, cylinder, sphere).
