Brief History
To ensure the quality of University Tri Dharma and institutional management, FMIPA UB implements internal and external quality assurance systems. Besides, to ensure the quality of its graduates, FMIPA UB has accredited its study program by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi or BAN-PT) with the predicates of very good and good (Table 1.1).

2) 1 (one) SCU in the learning process of responses/exercises/seminars or other similar forms includes: .. a) 100 minutes of personal meeting per week per semester; and b) 70 minutes of independent learning activity per week per semester. 3) 1 (satu) SCU in the learning process of practicums, studio practice, workshop, field practice, research, community service and/or other similar learning process, 170 minutes per week per semester.

Semester Credit Unit (SCU) provides students with broader opportunities to establish and manage their study process strategies for the best results according to their plan and condition. Brawijaya University formally follows the Semester Credit Unit established under Rector's Decree number 22/SK/1976, May 3, 1976.
Curriculum Load
The length of study can be completed in less than four years, and the maximum length of study is seven years, which is adapted to UB's internal quality assurance system.
Main Competencies
Advisory administration is regulated in accordance with the decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Brawijaya University. Obedience to the rules of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UB in religious activities. The application procedure for the final project exam of the undergraduate program is determined by the faculty, taking into account administrative and academic requirements. A student who has not yet passed the final project exam must follow the decision of the examination board.

Every new student admitted to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Brawijaya University is required to pay tuition/education fee (tuition fee) according to the provisions stipulated in the decree of the Chancellor of Brawijaya University. After taking this course, students can explain the properties of the real number system and how it differs from other number systems. After taking this course, students can understand and use the fundamentals of the Finite Element method to solve differential equations in the Poisson equation (2-point boundary value problem).

Sanction
Every violator of the Code of Conduct is given the right to defend himself, no later than 1 (one) week after receiving notification of the violation to the person affected. Violators of the code receive a written notification from the head of the faculty or department.
Other Provisions
The Chancellor may consider giving heavier sanctions for breaches of the Code of Ethics after input has been obtained from parties who are aware of the breach of the Code of Ethics. Sanctions for violators of the Code of Conduct can be in the form of: reprimands, strong warnings, suspension for a certain period, and being expelled from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UB.
