In this research, the writer only focuses on the use of the Busuu app to enhance students' listening skills. The purpose of the Busuu application was formed to help students, parents, teachers and trainers. Mark Doman as international president and professional McGraw-Hill Education emphasized that the use of the Busuu application every day continues to increase. Another advantage of the Busuu application is that it is an application that can be used for independent learning models.
What they want to see the above background, the authors describe the use of the Busuu application in English learning specifically to increase English listening ability. The listener must focus on the listening process so that it is easy to understand the goals and intentions of the native speaker.
Previous Related Research Findings
Definition of mobile learning by Vangie Beal mobile learning is teaching via the Internet or network using personal mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones to access learning materials through mobile apps, social interactions and online learning centers. Mobile learning enables educational institutions to deliver knowledge and educational content to students on any platform, wherever and whenever it is needed. The term mobile learning is most often used to describe the technology - the mobile devices and apps used in the classroom, but it can also be used to describe the support for always learning with mobile technology.
This app really helps learners work on their pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary right away. Busuu offers studied material covering different day-to-day topics and it has given learners various activities to understand the material, such as multiple choice questions, drag-and-drop (building a sentence from a jumble of words, matching and word order ), and fill in the blanks. The content, materials and features encourage the learners to experience foreign language learning and boost their confidence.
The second study conducted by Taufiqurrochman (2016) in their research on "Busuu.com: Model Belajar Bahasa Arab Mandiri Berbasis Website". Busuu.com's features and facilities are complete, including: lessons (duruus), exercises (tamarin), vocabulary (al-mufradat) and personal notes (shafhaty al-mufradat). The third conducted by Gangaiamaran, R and Pasupathi, M (2017) in their research on "Review on the use of mobile applications for language learning".

Population and sample of the research 1. The population of this research was students in class VIII at SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan Takalar in 2020/2021 academic year, which consists of 9 classes and each class, consists of 31 students, so the total population is 285 students. The data were calculated based on the results of the students' pre- and post-tests. The following table is the students' pre-test scores and percentage of experimental and control group.
In this research, the Null hypothesis (Ho) stated that the implementation of Busuu application cannot improve the listening ability of eighth grade students. While the alternative hypothesis (H1) stated that the implementation of Busuu application can improve students' listening ability in English in the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan Takalar in the academic year 2020/2021. It means that the Busuu application can improve the listening comprehension of students in the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan Takalar, in the academic year 2020/2021.
The third step was post-test given to the students to know the students' listening skill score after using Busuu application. Based on the students' score and classification in pre-test and post-test there were very significant differences. It showed that there was a different result of listening skill score in pre-test and post-test of the eight degree students of SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan Takalar.
The listening skills test score of the students' scores after the Busuu application was higher than before.
FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
Findings
As previously mentioned, students' listening ability was assessed from students' observations of the demonstrated lesson. From the classification, scores and the percentage of pre-test scores in the table above, that of the 22 students. Based on the description above, it is clear that there is an increase in students' listening skills on the student's post-test by treating these students with the help of the Busuu application.

After conducting the students' pre- and post-test results, the author used the t-test to test the hypothesis.
The t-test was a test to measure the presence or absence of a significant difference between students' mean scores in the pre-test and post-test, using an inferential t-test analysis or a significance test run with SPSS Version 16.0. significant differences may be easier to analyze.
Discussion
For the posttest, students received the same request about the test as for the pretest. According to Arsyad, learning media in the teaching and learning process can arouse new desires and interests, generate motivation and stimulation of learning activities, and even produce psychological influences on students. Using the Busuu application is very helpful for students in studying at home, especially in the current pandemic conditions where students have to study at home with the help of parents.
The use of Busuu application can improve the listening ability of Grade VIII-E students of SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan Takalar. We can see this before the treatment or in the results of the pre-test where the students who get GOOD are only 10 out of a total of 22 students and after the treatment in the form of the Busuu app medium, the students' scores increase after the test results the students get very good and good grades. For teachers, we advise using the Busuu app so that students do not get bored learning English in the classroom, where the teacher only learns using manuals based on the curriculum.
An investigation of listening comprehension problems encountered by Saudi students in the EL listening class. In the pre-test, the students were given a test in the form of questions without being given a signal. In the post-test, the students were given a test in the form of questions and they will be assisted by using the Busuu application.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
Conclusion
Based on the above research results, the writer concluded that the results of the writer's research at SMP Negeri 2 are Galesong Selatan Takalar. We can see that the frequencies result in a pre-test of table 4.1 on page 40 and the frequencies result in a post-test of table 4.2 on page 42. The students of grade VIII-E of SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan Takalar can increase from just 10 people become good and now all students get good and very good scores.
Because the students are already using the Busuu app, where the app really helps the students with their English assignments, especially the listening skills of the students. The students do it with native speakers and the quizzes are very interesting for the students, especially the class VIII-E students of SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan Takalar.

Kompetensi Dasar: Mempelajari bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing yang sangat penting penggunaannya, menunjukkan sopan santun kepada guru di sekolah, menunjukkan perilaku jujur, disiplin, percaya diri, bertanggung jawab dalam melakukan komunikasi transaksional dengan guru dan teman. Pada pertemuan kedua ini peneliti memberikan soal pretest kepada siswa yaitu berupa angket dengan 30 nomor pilihan ganda. Pada pertemuan ini, siswa diberikan waktu selama 45 menit tanpa menerima sinyal berupa aplikasi Busuu.
