1) The research paradigm consisting of positivist social science, interpretive social science, and critical social science
2) Distinguishing between Methodology and Methods
3) Understanding and explaining the characteristics of quantitative and qualitative research in each stage of research.
4) Understanding and explaining quantitative-statistical research designs using different analytical tools.
5) Describing and designing a quantitative research design
6) Explaining data collection methods in experimental research, surveys, and so forth.

8) Describing the analysis in a quantitative approach such as data handling, inferential statistics, and others.
9) Understanding and explaining qualitative research designs based on quantitative paradigm, modern positivism, post-positivistic-rationalistic, etc.
