1. Able to recognize the general characteristics of leading tourist-generating countries in various regions.

2. Able to recognize the potential of leading tourist destination countries

3. Students recognize efforts to increase the flow of tourist visits through tourism marketing and quality improvement

4. Able to recognize the 'Strengths and Weaknesses' of Indonesia's tourism potential as a receiving country for international tourists.

5. Able to observe the tourism of neighboring countries as competitors in tourist source countries

6. Able to analyze product improvement based on priority scale

7. Identify the purpose of tourist visits (Purpose of visit) and motivation based on segmentation

8. Recognize the characteristics of tourist visits 9. Recognizing the average tourist spend per visit

10. Recognize travel formalities, visa-free visits, the Do's and the don'ts

11. Know the regular events of foreign tourism promotion in tourist source countries and the characteristics of events.

This course introduces and contextualises the phenomenon of tourism within the broader social, cultural, economic and natural environments.
