THEORETICAL REVIEW 1. Concept of Speaking Ability
Concept of Pictures
Hornby states that image is painting, drawing, sketching of some special work of art.17 Furthermore, Rahmadi states that image is two-dimensional visual representations of person, places or things. Most often it is not only a photograph, but it can also be a sketch, a cartoon, a mural (lukisan dinging) or even a map, graph and chart. For example, rabbit, bear, Aliando Syarief, Laudia Cintya Bella, banana, grape, beach, rose flower, etc. b.
We know the story by looking at the picture because we can't always imagine things just by reading. 18http://googleweblight.com/?lite_url=http://www.answer.com/Q/What_are_the_Advant ages_and_Disadvantages_of_Pictures&ei=w3Lbp-Gb&lc=id-. It has been mentioned that the goal of teaching English in junior high school is to create students' interest and joy in studying, one of the ways in by using pictures.
For example, the students are given the picture of kangaroo, so they will know that the animal like it is kangaroo, an Australian animal that jumps along and carries its baby in a pouch. Because by implementing pictures the students will know what is the real thing they are dealing with. For example, the students are explained the words about plants, and they are also given the pictures.
This means that they don't just get the abstract idea, but they also experience the real thing. Based on explanation above, picture as media can be used as an alternative way in the learning process of preposition of place. The researcher therefore concludes that the implementation of picture is the way or ways to improve interest-learning students to get purposeful speaking in the learning process.

Object of the Study
Concept of Classroom Action Research
Action research deals with social practice and involves the direct interaction between teachers and groups of students. It is normal for a project to go through two or more cycles in an interactive process; the improvement of the research can be seen from a series of cycles, each of which includes lessons from previous cycles. Research is done to improve an object by using appropriate methodology rules to get data and information and then analyze to solve the problem.
A class is a group of students who, at the same time, receive the same lesson from their teacher. McNiff points out that action research is a name given to the particular way of researching your own learning19. In a brief explanation, we can say that CAR is a reflective study done by the teacher in a class to get the solution of the problem until it is solved.
In addition, CAR helps the teacher to solve the problem by applying a new technique as an alternative way that leads to innovation. Consisting of two cycles, Action research takes place through a dynamic and complementary process that consists of four essential moments.
Plan
Cycle II
In this step, the researcher observed the learning process by using the observation method to collect the data in Action Plan II. In this step, the researcher compared the score of the pre-test and the post-test. The researcher assessed and reflected on the students' activities and. It is considered important for the researcher to develop the speaking skills of 8th grade students at MTs Darussalam Seputih Banyak by applying an appropriate technique.
By using this technique, the student's problems in teaching the learning process of speaking skills should be solved. In conducting the research, the researcher worked with a real MTs Darussalam English teacher Seputih Banyak as an observer and collaborator. The writer plays the role of an English teacher who teaches students speaking skills using pictures, while the role of a real English teacher is that of an observer who observes the study happening while the teaching of learning activities takes place in the classroom.
Also acts as a collaborator when assisting the writer in designing a lesson plan, conducting the reflection and determining the course of study. Here the researcher is not only an observer, but also took action by making a lesson plan and giving assessments. It is portrayed as a cyclical spiraling process with a step of planning, acting, observing and reflecting.
It means that classroom action research is a form of research that enables practitioners everywhere to examine and evaluate their work in the classroom. From the above explanation, it can be deduced that classroom action research is an investigation of teaching and learning in the classroom with the aim of solving a problem or fixing something.
