Special Scholarship Program
>The Special Scholarship Program is a 3-year English-medium doctoral program designed for highly capable doctoral students. Successful applicants are entitled to receive following benefits:
1. Exempted from all the required student fees 2. 150,000 yen per month for research project work
3. 150,000 yen for travel and initial living cost (given only to international applicants who are living outside Japan)
The Special Scholarship Program recruits excellent doctoral students to take part in the research projects listed at:

< Master’s Scholarship Program >
Kochi University of Technology also offers master’s degree program. The successful candidates from the universities which signed exchange agreement with KUT are exempted from all the tuition fees.
Note:
The successful candidates must:
1. Cover any living costs by themselves (Living cost for one month is approximately 100,000 yen) 2. Have excellent Japanese skill, at least sufficient to keep up with classes at KUT

<On-campus accommodation “International House”>
KUT opened its on-campus accommodation called “International House” in Kami campus in October 2013 to provide a high quality research and study environment for both overseas and Japanese students. International students can enjoy this living-learning environment while developing a better understanding of Japanese culture through daily life with Japanese students.
