Introduction
The high diversity of bird species is the basic capital to make an area as an ecotourism destination such as "bird watching", besides, subak can also be developed into "Subak Tourism".
The purpose of this study was to determine the types of birds based on the type of food in the rice fields of Subak Mambal, Badung Regency.

Research Methods
Observations were made by roaming methods throughout the location in April-May 2018. The time of observation was carried out in the morning at 6:30 a.m., 10:10 a.m., and continued in the afternoon at 4:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Results and Discussion
Observations of 34 species of birds were identified and found 5 species of birds based on the type of food.

Conclusion
Found 34 species of birds were identified and found 5 species of birds based on the type of food, 2 species of birds based on their sound type, there were 6 species of birds species of birds were included (L) by government regulations because they were rare and appendix;
Brown-throated Sunbird (Anthreptes malacensis), Olive-backed sunbird (Nectarinia jugularis), Javan Kingfisher (Halcyon cyanoventris), Collared Kingfisher (Tordirhamphus chloris), Cattle Egret (Bubulcus ibis) and Javan Pond-heron (Ardeola speciosa) and one unprotected bird species (TL) but existence is rare in Bali and 27 types are commonly found, while the reaction is mostly with palawija crops and no migratory birds are found.
