1.0 Introduction
1.1 Background information
The Mechanical executive received reports from the supervisor about the out-of- spec of the drilling machine at the six of workshops of their company. Each department has four heat gun, where the total is 18 heat guns had damaged. So, the Mechanical executive instructs the Enior mechanic to search for three brands of heat gun. Then submit and present the specifications that are preferred by the company.
The process of purchasing involves searching for pieces of information, finding quotations, and proposing the heat gun.
1.2 Purpose of report
The purpose of this report is to select the supplier for the heat gun that best fits the company’s needs . The selection is made based on these criteria ; brand, voltage, price, control air flow, air volume, colour, weight, temperature, delivery, shipping method, location and warranty.
1.3 Method of investigation
The information for this report was obtained from an internet survey carried out by our team on 25 October 2023 . We collect information from the following website:

2.1 BRAND
The survey shows that the battery type for the three brands for the Heat Gun Machine.
2.2 VOLTAGE
It was found that the Bosch brand voltage is 220 V, the Allefix brand at 110-220 V and the Keelat brand at 110 V.
2.3 PRICE
It was found that the price for the Bosch brand is RM 220.00, the Allefix brand is RM 210.00 and the Keelat at RM 200.00.
2.4 CONTROL AIR FLOW
It was found that the control air flow for the Bosch is 3, the Allefix and Keelat is 2 control air flow.
2.5 AIR VOLUME
It was discovered that the air volume for the Bosch is 250-600 L/min, the Allefix brand is 230 L/min, the Keelat brand is 220 L/min
2.6 COLOUR
It was found that the colour for the Bosch brand is orange, black, and yellow, the Allefix brand is blue and black and the Keelat is blue, yellow and red.
2.7 WEIGHT
It was found that the weight for the Bosch brand is 2 kg, the Allefix is 2 kg and the Keelat is 2 kg.
2.8 TEMPERATURE
It was found that the temperature for the Bosch brand is 600°, the Allefix is 570° and the Keelat temperature is 550°.

2.11 LOCATION
It was discovered that the location for the Bosch brand is Selangor, the Allefix is Mainland China and the Keelat at Mainland China.
2.12 WARRANTY
The survey shows that the warranty for the Bosch brand is 10 years, the Allefix is 2 years and the Keelat at 2 years and 5 months.
3.0 CONCLUSION
It is concluded that the heat gun machine has many specifications that are differentiated. We can consider which brand to buy for our company.
3.1 BRAND
It is concluded that the strong and most famous brand name among the three brands is Bosch.
3.2 VOLTAGE
It is concluded that the Bosch brand has the highest voltage at 220 V. while the the Keelat brand has the lowest voltage at 110 V.
3.3 PRICE
It can be said that the cheapest price among the three brands of heat gun machines is RM 200.00. While the most expensive is RM 220.00.
3.4 CONTROL AIR FLOW
It can be said that the control air flow is 3 for the Bosch, the Allefix and Keelat brand is 2 control air flow.
3.5 AIR VOLUME
It can be said that the best quality heat gun machine is the Bosch brand, which is 250-600 L/min, While the less advanced air volume is the Keelat Brand at 220 L/min.
3.6 COLOUR
From the data gathered, the Bosch brand has a variety of colours orange, black, yellow, red, and blue. While the brand with fewer than four colours is Allefix and Keelat.
3.7 WEIGHT
From the data gathered, the heaviest of the heat gun machine is similar, the three brand heaviest is 2kg.
3.8 TEMPERATURE
From the data gathered, the high temperature is the Bosch brand. While the worst temperature is the Keelat brand.
3.9 DELIVERY
It appears that the best shipping method is the Bosch and Allefix brand which is the Next day delivery. While the worst shipping method is Keelat which is International.
3.10 SHIPPING METHOD
It appears that the most efficient shipping method for heat gun machines is the Bosch brand, which is Local delivery. While the less efficient shipping method is the Allefix and Keelat Brand which is Shopee Xpress.

From the data gathered, the nearest location is the Bosch Brand in Selangor. While the Far is the Allefix and Keelat brand in Mainland China.

From the data gathered, the longest warranty is the Bosch brand at ten years. On the other hand, the shortest warranty is the Allefix brand at two years.

It is recommended thatto buy the Bosch brand because of the price, control air flow, air volume, colour, temperature, weight, delivery, shipping method, location, and warranty.
