Gallery walking is a teaching technique that allows students to share their work with peers and explore learning materials in class.20 And the gallery walking technique that can make students active because each group has the opportunity to share the outcome of other groups' ideas and each student can collaborate, communicate with their friends and enhance students' creativity.

Gallery walking is a learning technique that can be an opening activity, a review activity or a closing exercise.21Based on the above definition, it can be understood that the gallery walking is a collaborative discussion where students can work together in small groups to share information. ideas. The purpose of a gallery walk is not just to collect or review information, but to explore a subject on a deeper level. Fostering Science Class Discussion Using Gallery Walk states during the gallery walk, students explore multiple texts or images placed in the space.

Students can walk around the gallery alone, with a partner or in small groups, announcing when the group should move to the next place in the exhibition. 22. It promotes team building, encourages persuasive arguments, and fosters consensus as students work together to accurately represent group members' ideas at various points in the gallery walk.

Action Hypothesis

The independent variable of this study is the variable that observes and measures the effect of the independent variable. Dependent variable of this research is Gallery Walk Technique which was implemented to improve the speaking skills of the students, which can be defined as a tool to help students process their learning activity. The dependent variable of this study is the variable observed to determine the effect of the independent variable.

Speaking proficiency as the dependent variable for a person who has developed or practiced in the language teaching classroom. Operational definition is the definition that is based on characteristics of the defined things and it can be observed or measured. To evaluate students' speaking skills, the research used tests consisting of pre-test and post-test.

The study used the speaking rubric to measure the students' development of their language skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammatical accuracy and latest interaction strategies. The researcher conducted this study at the eighth grade of SMP TMIRoudhlatul Qur'an Metro, located in Mulyojati16B South Metro. The researcher chose that there are 27 students in eight classes. The researcher focused on improving speaking skills.

Based on the above statement, the researcher can state that Classroom Action Research is a reflective study conducted by the teacher in the classroom to get solutions to problems until they are solved. In this Classroom Action Research (CAR), introduce the four-step cycle of planning, action, observation, and final reflection.

In conducting the research, the researcher worked with the real English teachers of SMP TMI Roudhlatul Qur'an Metro as an observer and collaborator. The researcher plays the role of an English teacher who teaches students speaking skills using the Gallery Walk technique, where the role of the real English teacher is to observe the research while the teaching and learning activities take place in the classroom.

Also, real English teachers act as collaborators when they help the researcher in designing the lesson plan, doing the reflection and determining the continuation of the study. Here, the researcher is not only as an observer, but the researcher also took some actions by making the lesson plan and giving evaluation. Then, the researcher also collects and analyzes data together with the teacher to know the result of oral speech in their learning process.

Data Collection Technique

Observation is the choice modification, recording and coding combination in behavior on the list of personal performance or individual activity, referring to observation sheet observed from activities students. The purpose of observation is to explain the situation being investigated, activities, persons or individuals are involved in data collection technique where the individual's activities are visually examined. Al., states that the documentation or document is data collection technique which is useful in making the phenomena under investigation more visible, e.g. file note, diary and journal, record, biography, autobiography, catalogs, archive, photograph, book, article and others .27 The researcher uses the method to support data collection object located to get information documentation such as school history, total classroom, total teachers, school's location, civil servant employed and students of SMP TMI Roudhlatul Qur‟an Metro.

Data Analysis Method

If from cycle 1 some students were not successful, the researcher carried out cycle II. The minimum cycle in CAR is two cycles if from cycle II of the students were successful, the cycle can only be stopped until cycle II. The formula to find out the percentage of students who pass the MSC in each cycle is as follows.

Moreover, on February 26, 2022, the researcher gave posttest 1 conducted in cycle I with similar task on pre-test before. The comparison of the percentage of the student's skill level on pre- and post-test I. Moreover, on March 12, 2022, at the third meeting, the researcher gave post-test II to the students.

At the end of this cycle, the researcher and the collaborator have all the processes such as student's post-test II grade and observation of student's analyze and calculate learning activities.

The comparison between students after class I test and after class II test can be compared in the table below. From the table above, it can be seen that the grades of the students in the post-test II were different.

Discussion

Pay attention to the teacher's explanation from 60% becomes 84%, the students' ask/answer question from 32% becomes 76%, the students'. It has been investigated that the use of gallery walking technique can improve the students' speaking skills. It is inferred that the use of gallery walk technique can improve the students' speaking skill because the research result reached the indicator of success.

It means that there is an improvement in the learning activity of the students because the result of the research had reached the indicator of success. Therefore, it is concluded that using the gallery walk technique can improve students' speaking skills and their learning activity. It is better for the teacher to use gallery walk technique in English learning especially in speaking because it can improve the students. And also gallery walk technique introduce to students about traditional games in generation now to learn movement and. To support the English teacher to use gallery walk technique in the learning process because gallery walk technique is so helpful.
