From the calculation about the correlation between reading comprehension and translation ability of the students in the sixth semester of the students of the Department of English at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, the research result was rxy 0.466, significant (2-tailed) 0.019 and the number of the subject 25 .The calculation result showed that the correlation coefficient between students' translation ability (X) and reading comprehension (Y) was 0.466.
