Similar serum cytokine levels in septic OTII and WT mice.
OTII and C57BL/6 WT mice were subjected to AP. After 24 h, serum levels of IL2 (A), IL4 (B), IL12p70 (C), and MCP-1 (D) were determined by CBA. The medians are shown. Non-surviving animals are shown with open symbols, surviving mice with filled symbols. The sample size was 9 and 11 WT, 12 and 14 OTII/group. Septic OTII and WT mice were compared using the Mann- Whitney test, showing no significant differences.
