The researcher wants to research with the title: "Using three-step interview strategy to improve students' speaking ability". Does the use of three-step interview strategy improve the speaking accuracy of SMA Muhammadiyah tenth grade students 9. Does the use of three-step interview strategy improve the speaking fluency of SMA Muhammadiyah tenth grade students 9.

RESEARCH METHOD RESEARCH METHOD

The population of this research was tenth grade in SMA Muhammadiyah 9. There was a class that consisted of 25 students.

The researcher administered the post-test after the students had spoken using the Three Steps Interview strategy.

In the post-test, students' speaking ability in accuracy (pronunciation) achievement score improved (57.6). Based on the result, it concludes that the implementation of three-step interview strategy improved the students' speaking ability. The following table shows the distribution of main scores in pre-test, post-test and improvement of students' fluency (smoothness).

Based on the research results, the use of three-step interview strategy to learn English is really effective in improving students' speaking skills. So the improvement from pre-test to post-test was 79.41%. It is concluded that after giving the material through three-step interview strategy, the students' speaking ability improved. In this case, the researcher used t-test (significance test) for independent variable test which was a test to know the significant difference between the result of students' mean score in pre-test and post-test.

The result of the statistical analysis of the t-test at significance level 0.05 with degree of. The result of the t-test for the implementation of a three-step interview to improve students' speaking skills can be seen below. This shows that there was a significant difference between the results of the students' speaking skills after the treatment.

This means that there was a significant difference between the students' speaking skills before and after using the three-step interview strategy for first-year students at SMA Muhammadiyah 9. It could be concluded that implementing the three-step interview strategy improved the students' speaking skills in teaching descriptive tests.

The students' participation in asking questions and the students' participation in speaking up and following the lesson were still in bed. The researcher found that the learning activity was more interesting when the students used a three-step interviewing strategy, where students learning and working in groups were presented during treatment. From the explanation of the discussion above, it appears that the three-step interview strategy was an interesting strategy, improving the students' interest in influencing the learning process and speaking effectively in pronouncing English words.

The pre-test result showed that fluency focused on smoothness got a low score (27.2), most students felt nervous so they only used limited vocabulary words and this affected speaking fluency. The data showed that some of the students produced sounds like [emm..], [pause], or [ee.] when trying to find the right word. In short, it can be said that students' speaking skills in English were still low and need to be improved.

Because there was a significant improvement in the students' mastery after the treatment was completed and based on the results of the research, the researcher supported the previous studies conducted by the researchers related to the use of the three-step interview strategy. It showed with their performance from pre-test to post-test, it had increased significantly and made the students more enthusiastic to speak English. The improvement of students' fluency focused on smoothness from the pretest with the average score of 27.2 to the posttest score in smoothness finally developed was 48.8.

It proved that there is a significant improvement in the speaking skills of the students, focusing on fluency, by using the three-step interview strategy in the grade of SMA Muhammadiyah 9.

Suggestion

For other researchers, the researcher hoped that the result of the research will make the English teachers use appropriate teaching such as the three-step interview strategy to improve students' speaking ability. Three-step interview strategy made students more interested in learning and students easier to get the information because students could discuss with their friends in a group. Implementation of whole brain teaching method to improve students' speaking skills in the second year of SMK Muhammadiyah Bontoala Makassar.

In my opinion, this is a very interesting historical place, as it is almost two thousand years old and was discovered in the middle of the last century. This was the center of the (..say a civilization name..) civilization and was one of the most prominent cities of our country. There are over a hundred acres of pitches on this site and most of them are the.

A museum was built as recently as 10 years ago so that visitors could learn more about this lost city and people. The museum is very good in terms of its collection and reflection of that civilization. I have read a lot about this civilization and cultures of these people and visiting this place was not a very good experience.

The city was more than 2 thousand years old, but it has many amazing artworks, tools, intricate designs, buildings with incredible work, the best canons and much more evidence of their progress. They were a flourishing civilization that dominated this part of the country. The idea of ​​our civilization being discovered by a future generation was an interesting idea and this historic site just reminded me of that. The museum, the excellent aerial knowledge and progress of this civilization are stunning historical evidence and interesting to explore.
