Built in the center of the country between 1956 and 1960, Brasilia marks an important milestone in the history of urban development. Founded by the Portuguese in the 16th century, the city's history is linked to the sugarcane industry.

This 706 meter high hill is home to one of the seven wonders of the modern world: Cristo Redentor. The monument can be seen from almost all parts of the City, and it offers a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro.

This was the seat of the federal government from 1897 to 1960, and 18 presidents have passed through its doors. All this and 360-degree views of one of the most beautiful cities on the planet.

This small island, in the middle of Guanabara Bay, was the site of the French occupation, which took place in Rio de Janeiro from 1555 to 1567. Pão de Açúcar' offers rides in the traditional funicular, climbing on 400-meter cliffs, walks in the middle in nature, helicopter rides, bars and cafes.

Samba and carnival

Itaipava

Opened in 1884, the Crystal Palace was brought from France and built in the workshops of the Sociedade Anônima de Saint-Sauvers Les Arras in 1879 for the Horticultural Association of Petrópolis, whose president was the Conde d'Eu - husband of Princess Isabel, which will serve as the location for exhibitions and parties. Its transparent construction, supported by metal frames, attracts attention in the midst of neoclassical houses in the historic center. The structure was renovated in 1998 and since then it has been the venue for concerts and events such as the Imperial Serenade, which takes place every last Thursday of the month.

ItatIaIa, penedo and VISconde de Mauá

Swimmers slide down the rocks with the force of the water until they reach a natural pool. Pico das Agulhas Negras: is located 2,791 meters above sea level and is the highest point of the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Cachoeira das Flores: with a drop of 7 meters, the waterfall forms a lake that is very popular with tourists.

The state is the largest producer of salt in Brazil and enchants tourists with tall white dunes that contrast with beautiful blue skies and the green of the sea. It was this combination that led to Natal being chosen as one of the venues for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The most famous and most sought-after coast among Brazilians and among more and more foreigners, the Rio Grande do Norte juts into the Atlantic Ocean, at the highest point of Brazil. It is the last beach on the south coast, located on the border between Rio Grande do Norte and the state of Paraíba.

The park also houses the Museu de Ciências Naturais, which has a permanent exhibition of 49 species native to Rio Grande do Sul. The history and culture of Rio Grande do Sul are presented using new technologies in Sala do Tesoura and Time Line.

Located next to the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, the region has a large number of students and artists roaming the streets and nightclubs. The permanent collection includes photographs, prints, maps, images and objects that are symbols of regional culture.
