Some of the techniques used in data collection in this study were pre-test treatment and post-test. It consisted of one pre-test meeting, three treatment meetings, and one post-test meeting. The researcher gave a pre-test during the first meeting to know the first knowledge of the students.

In conclusion, before the treatment, the students in XIPA2 class of SMAN 5 Soppeng have a reasonable ability to speak, especially smoothly. As clearly presented, the highest percentage of students is 10 students with a fairly good category.
