ABSTRACT
Speaking is described as the interactive process of constructing meaning that involves producing, receiving and processing information. It is an important part of everyday interaction and most often the first impression of a person is based on his/her ability to speak fluently and comprehensively. Teaching becomes very hard professions in the world, especially teaching English in speaking skill. As teachers, have good sense in teaching and understand how to use technology in teaching will make themselves easier to help the indirect learning process through virtual. One of the technology can be used by the teacher as media to online learning process is virtual classroom. The subject of this research was the English teacher and the students at the fifth semester of English Education at Islamic University of Kalimantan MAB Banjarmasin. Here, using qualitative research design. Then to collect the data the researcher used interview guide. In analyzing the data the researcher applied steps of data analysis suggested by Sugiyono, at all. There are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result of analysis shows that the implementation of virtual classroom the teacher consider that media is an alternative that is easily to support the distance learning process through online or virtual. But in other cases in teaching speaking, the teacher cannot observe how the development of students' speaking skills directly because the learning process is carried out virtually.

INTRODUCTION
In teaching English we must have macro skills, they are listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, and represent. Learning a language means trying to get a good mastery of the language for the purpose of communication must be supported by the components of English, they are grammaring, spelling, and speaking.
Speaking is one of six language skills and the students should master.
According to Yahya (2010:86).
"Speaking is the use of language orally". The ability to communicate in a foreign language clearly and efficiently contributes to the success of learner in school and success later in every phase of life. Therefore it is essential and language teachers pay great attention to teaching speaking.
Education and learning is one part of the change which is currently an important factor in shaping a nation's civilization in giving birth to new changes and strategies in the field of science and technology. Learning strategies as structuring ways that contain a sequence of procedural steps that can be used in certain conditions to achieve desired learning outcomes (Rusdiyah 2012). Advances in information and communication technology also enable students to carry out learning activities not only formally or face to face with lecturers, but also can learn through internet media (Prassida, G. &
Muklason, A., 2011).
One of the uses of the internet in the world of education is distance learning. There are various terms for expressing ideas about distance learning by utilizing the internet, namely: online learning, e-learning, internet-enabling learning, virtual learning, or web-based learning (Sihaan, 2003). At this time, there are many who are interested in implementing the concept of Virtual Classroom (VC).
Virtual Classroom is a contradictory concept compared to the conventional learning process, which
eliminates the physical presence of the class. Implementation of virtual classes through online learning mode is usually web-based. This Virtual Classroom concept, offers more promising opportunities for collaboration, connections, access to information, interesting visualizations and encourages the parties involved to be more productive and faster in understanding knowledge (Suranto, 2009).
Learning process activities use various methods and strategies to get better learning outcomes. Efforts to improve student achievement are one of the duties and responsibilities of a teacher or professional educator.
One of the efforts to improve the teaching quality of a teacher is to improve learning patterns by applying learning approaches or models that are considered effective and efficient by teachers to be applied in the classroom. efficiently so that the learning objectives that have been set can be achieved. Virtual Learning as a learning medium will make it easier for students to understand learning material without having to practice directly because the practical process can be done virtually.
Regarding those reasons, that is why the researcher did this study.
METHOD
Research Design and Setting
Qualitative was chosen as the design to do this research. The type of research was used interviewing study because the researcher focuses to investigate the use of the virtual classroom by teacher in teaching speaking and to know the students response of using virtual classroom in teaching speaking. This research was conducted at UNISKA. This campus is located at Jl. Adhyaksa No. 2 Kayu Tangi, Banjarmasin 70123 on july 2020.
Participants
The participants of this research was conducted in the fifth- semester students of the English
Education at Islamic University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al- Banjary (UNISKA). There are two classes this semester in Banjarmasin and the researcher has applied in Class A regular morning as the sample of this research using purposive sampling technique.
Data and source of data
The data in this research were obtained from English lecturer as the primary data source and students as secondary data sources. The lecturer is the main source because the focus of the research is the use of virtual learning in teaching speaking by the teacher. Meanwhile, students were taken to support data about reality and responses to the use of virtual classes in speaking learning. As a result, both lecturers and students will answer all research questions related to this research.
Procedure of data collecting
To collect the data the researcher used interview. In conducting an interview, the researcher needed an interview guide as the instrument to make the data more vivid. The interview guide was a list of questions prepared before conducting the interview. The researcher made 15 questions proposed for lecturers and 11 questions for students. While doing the interview, the researcher took note as well as recorded the conversation that would be processed as data, namely interview transcript.
The researcher also using whatssap application to interview the students . Data Analysis
The researcher divided the activity in analyzing data into three activities, they are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. In this research, the researcher maked a conclusion from the data display. In short, the steps in analyzing the data are: (1) the researcher collected the data through interview. Then, the researcher selected, identified, and focused on the data by referring to the
formulation of the research problem.
(2) After selected the data, the researcher displayed those data into good sentences. (3) After displayed the data, the conclusion is drawn.
FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION 1. Lecturers’ way to maked students
get participated in learning speaking using Virtual Classroom
When the researcher did interview of English lecturer on July 2020, the researcher obtained information that the lecturer used social media and application such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Email, and sometimes Zoom Meetings as a application to post learning material, send assignments, and provide results.
Based on the findings that the researchers found, the teacher's way of maked the students participate in learning using virtual classes was using the internet web and social media applications in the teaching and learning process of speaking. It can be concluded that Virtual Classroom can make it easier for lecturer to send learning material, submit assignments and provide assessments. Most students already have technology devices such as smartphones and laptops. So, students can easily collect assignments through Virtual Classroom.
2. The Students’ Responses on the teaching by using Virtual Classroom
Students’ response when the teacher using virtual classroom, teaching are more flexible and efficient. Students find it easier to accept lessons because they can study anywhere and anytime through virtual. And students can also more easily to get material learning and collect assignments that have been given by the lecturer through predetermined applications. Lecturer can use virtual classroom as E- Learning media to facilitate students in the learning process. In the use of Virtual Classroom media, there are
also several challenges faced by students in the learning process. There are several challenge factors in using Virtual Classroom. There are technical problems such as devices that suddenly error when used in the learning process, internet charges that must be sufficient, the voice of the speaker is unclear due to unstable networks, and signals that are difficult to cacth the internet. So those things make the speaking learning process using virtual classroom run ineffective and disturbed.
CLOSING Conclusion
Based on the result of analysis as presented in chapter IV, the researcher concludes that virtual classroom as a learning medium that is easy for lecturer and students to use in distance learning process . Include to submit material, assignments, and provide assessments. But in other cases in teaching speaking, the lecturer cannot observe how the development of students' speaking practice skills directly because the learning process is carried out virtually. And students also cannot express their ideas in direct speaking ability. And also there are three factors that affect the obstacles that occur in the learning process using virtual classroom. The first is a technical error that results in an error on the device suddenly. The second is problem that many students complain about is the large internet charges, so students must have sufficient internet charges. And the third is the internet network that is not stable and limited acces when participating in the virtual learning process. So that it is the obstacles faced by students that make the learning process disrupted and it is not effective to teaching speaking using virtual classroom.
Suggestion
On this research, the researchers suggested to lecturers and students that they were able to provide and support the facilities used when using virtual learning. Such as in
facing technical constraints on technological devices and the exhaustion of their limited internet charge, they can charge the battery and internet charges which is sufficient so that when the virtual learning process is fulfilled. While in the case of an unstable internet network, they can use the Wifi facilities available at home. But if they don't have those facilities at home they can choose a SIM card operator which has a good and strong signal in the area to support internet access. So the researcher hope that in this way the learning process can run optimally and efficiently by using virtual classroom media.
