Population in this research were patients who came to the Poli Gigi RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. 74 Meanwhile, severe TMJ dysfunction in this research shows that the age group under 31 years is greater than the other age groups, which is 12%.
Moderate TMJ dysfunction of this research showed that the age of group over 45 years had the greatest result than the other age group in the amount of 63.2%. Meanwhile, severe TMJ dysfunction of this research showed that the age of group below 31 years old had the greatest result than the other age group in the amount of 12%.
ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF SEA CUCUMBER EXTRACT TO PORPHYROMONAS GINGIVALIS IN VITRO
In this study, the extract of two species of sea cucumbers: Sticophus hermanii and Holothuria atra will be tested for its antibacterial activity against P. The disc diffusion sensitivity test result of the two extracts of sea cucumbers Sticophus hermanii and Holothuria atra showed zone of inhibition in the Growth of P. Some extracts of sea cucumber have been known to have antibacterial properties related to the content of saponin and triterpene glycoside17.
Another class of compounds are saponins, commonly identified as holothurins, from sea cucumber. The structural features of these compounds are quite comparable to those of the bioactive substances of ganoderma, ginseng and other medicinally popular tonic herbs. Both Sticophus hermanii and Holothuria atra have been extracted with methanolic extract22. The antibacterial compound of sea cucumber which is believed to be polar because it is dissolved in methanol solvent and has been shown to have the antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxic agent in some studies10,12,21,22.

Setelah itu, celupkan kertas saring yang sebelumnya telah dicelupkan ke dalam ekstrak daun Avicennia marina selama 10 detik pada kelompok perlakuan. Tahap selanjutnya adalah perendaman kertas saring yang sebelumnya direndam dalam ekstrak daun Avicennia marina selama 10 detik pada kelompok perlakuan. Hasil penelitian daya hambat ekstrak daun mangrove Avicennia marina terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran adalah sebagai berikut.
Sesuai dengan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak daun Avicennia marina mempunyai efek antibakteri terhadap bakteri periodontopatogen campuran. Penelitian ini masih bersifat kualitatif yaitu menunjukkan daya hambat ekstrak daun Avicennia marina terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut.

Secara umum penyakit periodontal terbagi menjadi penyakit gusi dan penyakit yang menyerang struktur penyangga gigi. Peradangan merupakan salah satu bentuk penyakit periodontal yang sering terjadi dan secara umum terbagi menjadi gingivitis dan periodontitis.20. Sejak publikasi konsensus ini, setidaknya tiga penelitian meta-analisis besar telah dilakukan yang melaporkan hubungan antara penyakit periodontal dan penyakit kardiovaskular.
Sebuah penelitian melaporkan peningkatan kadar CRP pada pasien periodontitis sesuai dengan tingkat keparahan penyakit setelah disesuaikan dengan faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kadar CRP, seperti merokok, BMI, kadar TG, dan kolesterol. 29 Korelasi positif antara kadar CRP dan penyakit periodontal. diperkirakan menjadi mekanisme yang mendasari hubungan antara penyakit periodontal dan peningkatan risiko penyakit jantung koroner. Dari studi observasional ini, dikumpulkan data tingkat keparahan penyakit periodontal dari 100 orang yang menderita penyakit jantung koroner.

OF NANNOCHLOROPSIS OCULATA EXTRACT
TOWARDS THE MIXED PERIODONTOPATHOGEN BACTERIA
Ekstrak mikroalga hijau Nannochloropsis oculata mampu menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Vibrio alginolyticus, namun aktivitasnya terhadap bakteri periodontoptogenik campuran belum diketahui. Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui daya hambat ekstrak mikroalga hijau Nannochloropsis oculata terhadap bakteri periodontopatogen campuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan diameter zona hambat pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran pada perlakuan kelompok kontrol positif (tetrasiklin) sebesar 10,5833 mm dengan konsentrasi ekstrak mikroalga hijau Nannochloropsis oculata 80% terbesar sebesar 7,2367 mm. .
Berdasarkan mekanisme kerja tersebut, dalam hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa zona hambat tampak lebih besar pada kelompok tetrasiklin dibandingkan kelompok yang diberi ekstrak mikroalga hijau Nannochloropsis oculata. Ekstrak mikroalga hijau Nannochloropsis oculata mempunyai efek penghambatan terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran pada konsentrasi 80%.
INHIBITION OF Rhizophora mucronata BARK EXTRACT AGAINST GROWTH OF MIXED PERIODONTOPATHOGEN BACTERIA
Berdasarkan penjelasan di atas, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui daya hambat ekstrak kulit batang mangrove yang mengandung spesies Rhizophora mucronata terhadap bakteri periodontopatogen campuran, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar alternatif pengobatan periodontitis. 160 Setelah tahapan preparasi ekstrak dan inokulasi bakteri selesai, tahap selanjutnya adalah proses kerja pengujian daya hambat ekstrak Rhizophora mucronata terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran dengan cara mencelupkan kertas saring yang sebelumnya dicelupkan ke dalam ekstrak R. Dari uji statistik one way ANOVA diketahui nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 (p<0,05). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak kulit batang Rhizophora mucronata dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran.
Seperti telah disebutkan sebelumnya, daya hambat pertumbuhan bakteri Rhizophora mucronata disebabkan oleh komponen kimia yang terkandung di dalamnya. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan besarnya zona hambat minocycline yang jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan zona hambat yang menggunakan ekstrak kulit batang Rhizophora mucronata 16.

Data penelitian daya hambat ekstrak daun coklat kemerah-merahan terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran pada media agar MH adalah sebagai berikut. Diameter zona hambat ekstrak daun coklat kemerah-merahan terhadap pertumbuhan campuran bakteri periodontopatogen pada agar MH. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun coklat kemerah-merahan dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran, namun tidak sekuat pemberian tetrasiklin.
Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun sirsak Annona muricata linn terbukti menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri periodontopatogen campuran pada semua kelompok. Oleh karena itu, konsentrasi ekstrak daun coklat kemerah-merahan dipilih pada penelitian ini dengan konsentrasi 45 mg/ml karena konsentrasi tersebut mampu menghambat bakteri periodontopatogen campuran dengan daya hambat yang cukup tinggi.

Solusi yang dapat diambil untuk mengurangi penyebaran HIV/AIDS adalah dengan tidak menggunakan Narkoba dan seks bebas. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa mayoritas responden mempunyai pengetahuan yang sangat tinggi mengenai pengertian HIV/AIDS.

Much of the oral mucosa may be covered with large, deep ulcers that coalesce. Formally, there was only a small ulcer on the lateral border of the posterior left tongue. The treatment of the case was, according to the clinical picture, the suspected diagnosis was severe RAS.
