ABSTRACT
The transition period of the Covid-19 pandemic has a negative impact due to the implementation of dynamic policies from the government, so that it has a negative impact, especially for airlines. This affects employee well-being who work in the aviation world. This study was conducted to determine whether psychological empowerment is able to act as mediator in the relationship between organizational climate and employee well-being. This research is a quantitative with simple mediation regression method and accidental sampling technique. 354 employees who work in the aviation sector became research respondents. The measuring tools used are the EWB Scale, was developed by Pradhan and Hati, the organizational climate measurement tool, developed by Putter, and the psychological empowerment questionnaire developed by Spreitzer. Mediation regression analysis was processed using PROCESS V4.0 Procedure for SPSS by Andrew F. Hayes. The results show that psychological empowerment can be a mediator in the relationship between career adaptability and employee well- being, which means that an increase in the relationship between organizational climate and employee well-being can occur if it’s mediated by psychogical empowerment previously. This research is expected to be used as an additional reference for airline companies to understand the OC, PE, and well- being of workers, so as to improve the welfare of workers.
