Subject: Approval for release of funds for infrastructure and hiring charges to RSETIs.
Sir,
The undersigned is directed to refer to NIRD letter no. NIRD/RSETI/2009-10 dated 01.04.2010 and to convey the approval of the competent authority to the release of funds to the tune of Rs.10.50 crores ( Rupees Ten crores and fifty lakhs) towards infrastructure charges and hiring charges for RSETIs at the locations given below:-
I. Release of balance amount of Rs.90 lakhs each for Infrastructure Development at the following eight locations;
II. Release of infrastructure grant of Rs.1 crore for following 3 locations;

III. Release of hiring charges for release of Rs.10 lakh each at the following 3 locations:-
NIRD, Hyderabad will release the funds to the banks subject to following terms and conditions;
1. The release of funds is subject to fulfilling of all the conditions laid down in the guidelines for RSETIs.
2. Hiring charges for RSETIs would be permissible only in the districts where land has been allotted by the State Governments.
3. Hiring charges in respect of Patiala (PB), Puri (Orissa) and Shivpuri (M.P.) would be released on receipt of confirmation from concerned PD, DRDA about its functioning from hired premises.
NIRD is hereby authorized to release this amount out of the available infrastructure funds lying with them. They may keep this Ministry apprised of the progress in utilization of funds regularly.
This issues with the approval of IFD’s U.O No 128/Fin.II /10, dated 16.06.2010.
