--- ADMISSION FOR TRAINING-CUM-COACHING TO THE SC/ST CANDIDATES
FOR ICAR NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (NET)
--- National Eligibility Test (NET) is a qualifying examination, conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for determining eligibility for Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). Anand Agriculture University (AAU) will be conducting two months training-cum-coaching programme to prepare students for NET at AAU, Anand tentatively during September – November, 2013. Training programme will be conducted on working days consisting of lecture sessions, mock tests, library/cybrary sessions and off class exercises.
Selection Criteria: Interested students of SC/ST categories who have completed their post graduation from four state agricultural universities of Gujarat are invited to submit their application. Admission will be on merit basis and the disciplines to be taught in current programme will be decided by AAU, depending upon number of applications received for different disciplines.
Stipend & Hostel Facility: A stipend of Rs. 3000/- p.m. will be provided to each SC/ST student on the basis of minimum 80% attendance. Hostel and food facilities will be provided as per availability on chargeable basis.
Submission of Application: Candidates are requested to submit their application in the enclosed format (Annex – I) along with self attested copies of degrees and caste certificates by post addressed to: Principal, College of FPT & BE, Anand Agricultural University, Anand – 388 110.
Last date of receiving applications: 30th September, 2013.
List of eligible candidates will be displayed on AAU website (www.aau.in). Original certificates
& other documents need to be presented at the time of admission. Application(s) incomplete or received late will not be considered.
Mere submission of application does not qualify for admission. Final selection of candidates will be of the sole discretion of the university.
