• Currently working as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Management Studies, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim, from February 2006.
• Worked as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Wetland Management and Ecological Design, Government of West Bengal from August 2001 to July 2002
