Student Council Elections 2023
Below mentioned are the updates regarding Student Council Election 2023:
1. The last date of submission of nomination form has been extended to April 17th, 2023 till 12 P.M. due to insufficient number of applications for all 16 listed posts (Refer to the notice on the website for the list of posts and guidelines
https://gargicollege.in/notice/).
The submission needs to be done to the lab assistant(s) present in Psychology Lab, Psychology Dept., Second floor, Commerce Block, Gargi College.
Please also note that the applications for ICC Rep. are required from both first and second year, as one rep will represent students of one particular year.
Therefore, candidates in their first years as well as in their second year can apply for the post of ICC Rep.
2. When submitting your applications, please note the following mandatory requirements:
- Please note that the paper wise attendance of all the semesters should be greater than 66.67%.
- For students in their second semester, the CGPA (once the result is declared) and attendance can be provided at a later time with an undertaking right now.
- Two LORs from only college professors are required and must be submitted.
3. Along with the nomination form, a properly verified proof of the post or position held in the department or society is required. The association, society, or teacher in authority must do the verification.
4. The list of candidates post Nomination Form Scrutiny will be released on 17th April 2023 (Monday) itself post which all the candidates can proceed with the
Campaigning
(Campaigning period: From the time the list gets released on 17th April to 19th April 2023)
5. On April 18th, 2023, starting at 10 A.M., an interaction with the Electoral Committee will take place.
