TENDER NOTICE
The librarian, University Library, Anand Agricultural University invites book suppliers for exhibition of various books. Detailed terms and condition including required documents are available on the University websitetenders as Library Books Exhibition. Interested parties must send non refundable DD of Rs. 1000/- as a processing fee and EMD of Rs. 1,50,000/- with signed copy of Terms and Condition on letter and required documents before 12/02/2016.

Terms and Condition:
1 Book Supplier will have to provide books related to Agricultural and Allied Science (Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology, Information Technology, Rural Studies, Fisheries, Zoology, Biotechnology, Environment, Microbiology, Horticulture, Food Science, Pharmacy, Agriculture Chemistry, Agriculture Economics, Mathematics, Agriculture Statistics, Entomology and Plant Pathology, Forestry, Agriculture Engineering, Soil Science, Fertilizer etc.) with 20% discount. The exceptions would be Government publications/Institutional publications.
2 Supplier will arrange for exhibition of books in the University library at its own cost. The supplier will have to bring books published from the year 2011 to 2015(Latest edition) only.
3 Every supplier must deposit EMD of Rs. 1,50,000 in the form of DD in favour of "AAU Fund Account" payable at AAU, Campus branch. EMD is refundable only if supplier is successfully executing orders from AAU with all terms and conditions.
4 The books will be selected by University Teacher, Scientist, Librarian, Assistant Librarian and Students after display / exhibition made in the University Library and the decision and right of purchasing / books will be with University Library only. If recommendations not received from AAU, books may not be purchased.
5 The party must have to supply the books recommended by library users based on catalogue, internet tools and other books selection tools, if not displayed /exhibited in the library.
6 Minimum 90% of the ordered books must be supplied by party, In case the books are out of print, a valid proof for the same will have to be submitted to the University Library, failing the same EMD will be for fitted.
7 The supply will accompany a price proof in the form of a copy of the publisher's importers / distributors invoices or publisher's catalogue of the supplied books. The Stickers Price proof will not be accepted.
8 The Supplied books will be verified and the payments released only after they are found to be in good condition.
9 Based on the performance of selected supplier (s) during the year 2016-17 this contract can be extended further with mutual consent.
10 The Librarian reserves all the rights to cancel all or any tenders without assigning any reasons.
11. If any legal dispute arises, its jurisdiction will be Anand, Gujarat.
Require Documents for Book Suppliers
(1) The minimum compulsory documents mention below.
(A) A copy of membership certificate issue by GOC.
(B) GST or TIN No. Certificate.
(C) Income- Tax Return of last three assessment years with copy of PAN Card.
(D) An affidavit on Rs. 100 No-Judiciary stamp paper mentioning that
(i) Name of two Reputed University libraries in which the party had supplied books or journals.
(ii) Declaration that supplier is not a black listed party.
(iii) Declaration to supply 90% of ordered books during the year.
