Eynollah Behboudi was born
in
Tehranon
September23,
1914 (Mehr 1, 1293of
Iranian calendar).He
was educatedin
Tehran, and after achieving the secon-dary
school education,he
entered the Karaj Agricultural college in 1932, where he wasa
laborious discipleof
professorE.
Gauba.After
three yearsof
study inKaraj, he continued his
collaborationwith Dr,
E. Gauba andDr.
E. Esfandiari and was appointed as the Director of theBotanical
Gardenof the
college. Heleft the Karaj Agricultural college in 1945
and spent the rest of his life in
the service of Ministryof
Agriculture. He wasin
collaborationwith Dr. E.
Esfantiiari,one of the founders of
"HerbariumMinisterii Iranici
Agriculturae(EVIN)".
He died
on
March7,
