ABSTACT
Knowledge Sharing Activities and
Organizational Communication Satisfaction of Nurses

The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study conducted to understand the knowledge sharing activities and organizational communication satisfaction of nurses working in a general hospital, and to understand the relationship between knowledge sharing activities and organizational communication satisfaction.
The subject of this study was a survey of nurses working in a general hospital in Seoul from March 3 to March 31, 2021, and data were collected from 189 people. The collected data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program.
The results of this study are as follows.
1. Level of the participants’ knowledge sharing activities was 3.79±0.46

points out of 5 points, and the knowledge sharing activities score between members was 3.87±0.71 points, and the knowledge sharing activities score between department members was higher than 3.70±0.81 points. Level of the participants’ organizational communication satisfaction was 3.33±0.35 points, and the communication score with the subordinate was the highest at 3.62±0.72 points among the eight sub- areas, and the organizational integrity score was the lowest at 2.72±0.75 points. Media quality 3.57±0.70 points, horizontal communication 3.56±0.73 points, communication with superiors 3.55±0.70 points, communication atmosphere 3.41±0.85 points, personal feedback 3.37±0.69 points, and organizational outlook 2.84±0.85 points.
2. Religion (t=2.88, p=.004) showed a significant difference in the satisfaction of organizational communication according to the general characteristics of the subject. Others were not statistically significant in the knowledge sharing activities and organizational communication satisfaction according to the general characteristics.
3. Correlation between knowledge sharing activities and satisfaction of organizational communication showed a significant positive correlation (r=.467, p <.001).
Through the results of this study, it was found that the more active the knowledge sharing activities, the higher the satisfaction with organizational communication. Since it is important for patient safety, it should be possible to quickly share information between members through an accurate medium according to the situation. It is expected that this study
