4.4.3. Descriptive Analysis for Independent Variables 1. Descriptive Analysis for Brand Factor

For independent variables (Brand factor) consists of eight questions.

Based on Table 4.4.3.1 displays the average response of respondents to

product satisfaction on a five-point scale ranging from 2.91 to 4.04. To describe the questions from these independent variables, the Mean for question 1 (Physical appearance and fashions are very important to me) is 4.04 and Std. Deviation is 0.951. As for question 2, (I will buy fake products because quality is not important, but brands do) Mean is 2.91 and Std.

Deviation is 1.324. Next is question 3 (I believe that counterfeit luxurious fashion products increase my value) Mean is 3.06 and Std. Deviation is 1.1308. The mean for question 4 (I feel confident when wearing products from well-known brands) is 3.66, and the standard deviation is 1.142. For question 5 (I am rather sensitive to interpersonal rejections) Mean is 3.52 and standard deviation is 1.064. The mean for question 6 (I can distinguish between counterfeit and original products) is 3.65 and Std. Deviation is 1.085. While for questions 7 (I will not feel ashamed if people know that I wear fake brand product) and 8 (Counterfeit luxurious fashion products can make me attract other people's attention) Mean is 3.39, Std. Deviation is 1.243 and mean, 3.29 and Std. Deviation 1.226 respectively.

4.4.3.2. Descriptive Analysis for Price Factor

For independent variables (Price factor) consists of eight questions. Based on Table 4.4.3.2 displays the average response of respondents to product satisfaction on a five-point scale ranging from 3.26 to 4.18. To describe the questions from these independent variables, the Mean for question 1 (I buy counterfeit products because the prices of designer products are so pricey) is 3.88 and the standard deviation is=1.104. As for question 2, (I maybe can afford to pay the price of a fake product instead of the original product) Mean is 3.80 and Std. Deviation is 1.060. Next is question 3 (I think buying counterfeit products is more worthwhile) Mean is 3.34 and Std. Deviation is 1.218. The mean for question 4 (I have never bought expensive branded items) is 3.26, and the standard deviation is 1.379. For question 5 (If there are cheap branded items, maybe I will buy them) Mean is 4.14 and standard deviation is 0.891. The mean for question 6 (The prices offered by fake products are more affordable than those of original products, causing many people to choose fake products according to their budget) is 4.01 and Std.

Deviation is 0.931. While for questions 7 (Students' limited income causes

factor is the main reason that influences buyers when making a purchase decision for a product) Mean is 4.05, Std. Deviation is 0.885 and Mean, 4.18 and Std. Deviation 0.849 respectively.

4.4.3.3. Descriptive Analysis for Attitude Factor

For independent variables (Attitude factor) consists of eight questions.

Based on Table 4.4.3.3 displays the average response of respondents to

product satisfaction on a five-point scale ranging from 2.79 to 3.66. To describe the questions from these independent variables, the Mean for question 1 (I prefer counterfeit products to luxurious brand products) is 2.97 and the standard deviation is=1.317. As for question 2, (By selecting counterfeit products, others might have a negative perception of the buyer) Mean is 3.66 and Std. Deviation is 1.156. Next is question 3 (Buying counterfeit increases social status) Mean is 3.10 and Std. Deviation is 1.280.

The mean for question 4 (counterfeit products performed similarly to genuine products) is 3.46, with a standard deviation of 1.234. For question 5 (Counterfeit products are as reliable as original products) Mean is 3.20 and standard deviation is 1.274. The mean for question 6 (I recommend to friends and relatives that they buy a counterfeited product) is 2.79 and Std. Deviation is 1.373. While for questions 7 (I think about a counterfeited product as a choice when buying something) and 8 (I will buy any fake item to give to someone I love) Mean is 3.26, Std. Deviation is 1.257 and mean, 2.79 and Std.

Deviation 1.392 respectively.
