1 Construct and maintain silt traps at appropriate locations as directed by S.O.to mitigate siltation and water polution. Size of silt traps to cater for a capacity of 2000 to 3000 m3.

Silt Curtain / Screen Control
3 Provide a silt curtain/screencontrol from continuous filament non woven needle punch 100%
polypropylene, UV stabilise or equivalent complete with all accessories to areas as directed by yhe S.O. to prevent deposition of any debris, rubbish, silt, waste materials, foul water etc arising from execution of works. The depth of the silt curtain/screen from surface water level ranges between 3m to 5m as specified in item 54.9 of the specification.
