34; .• The President shall have the authority to impose additional conditions and regulations for the payment of overload and summer tuition fees. Thus, there shall be only one rate for all instructors (regardless of rank or grade), another rate for all assistant professors (regardless of rank or salary qradel, etc. Note: The actual rate payable shall be rounded to the nearest ten pesos.
In all of these cases, it is assumed that only officially registered graduate students who have paid in full by the last day of late registration will be counted.
No faculty member shall be paid overload honorarium for more than nine (91) overload teaching units per semester for each quarter or more than six (6) units per semester. If the correction results in a higher group, the student will be charged higher fees (if any) but only for the remainder of the semester. However, further reduction from Bracket 3 to 2 will be subject to the approval of UPS-CSFA.
The further increase from bracket 5 to 6 is subject to the final action of the UP System-CSFA.

The Board of Trustees approved the creation of the position of Director of Instruction in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, UP Diliman, with six (6) credits of administrative workload and the award of a reasonable honorarium for the position (as approved by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the President). The college has a vice-dean, who is appointed by the president from among the full-time professors of the university. Graduate Education Development Fund, UP Los Ballos The Board of Trustees approved the allocation and disbursement of the UP Graduate Education Development Fund (GEDF).
It will be the responsibility of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs to monitor compliance by colleges with the policies and rules on lecturers and professor emeritus.
DONATIONS, GRANTS AND GIFTS Donation of Schroeffe Cello
They will henceforth be paid the rate corresponding to the teaching rank in which they have been appointed. For both categories of faculty members who must teach after retirement, a maximum load of one subject or a 3-unit course will be imposed, unless otherwise authorized by the Chancellor in very exceptional cases. Exceptions to this rule may be granted only upon recommendation by the President and approval by the Board of Regents.
Additional Non-Government Compensation for Lecturers in Certain Fields - The University recognizes that for some fields or specialties, even the new compensation rates may not have reached market rates.
ACADEMIC MATTERS
It is understood that all lecturers or professors emeriti given teaching load are in good health and physically able to teach. In this regard, the University encourages the use of non-governmental funds (eg from foundations, alumni associations, private grants or donations, secondment arrangements by private firms, etc.) where necessary and available, for compensation.

The allocation of the extra amounts for the Loya~y service award will mean some sacrifices for all of us and the University. Employee Benefits Provided Since 19B7 - The current increase in the loyalty wage for all employees is only the latest in a long and significant list of benefits for the faculty and staff of the entire University System since I became President. Merit promotions were given in 1991 to 1,559 members of the faculty and 504 administrative and academic support staff.
It should also be noted 'that staff and their dependents enjoy health and educational benefits through the University's programs and facilities.
