The 2nd Commencement Exercises (for Senior High School) and the 72nd Commencement Exercises (for Tertiary Education and Graduate Studies) today will be available via livestream on
https://www.facebook.com/DLSAranetaU.
Those who wish to view the ceremonies may start watching at 8:00 AM for the 2nd Commencement Exercises and at 3:00 PM for the 72nd Commencement Exercises.
Please be guided accordingly.
General Instructions and Reminders for the 72
ndCommencement Exercises May 12, 2019
All candidates for graduation for SY 2018-2019 are reminded to strictly observe the following reminders for the 72nd Commencement Exercises:
General Instructions
1. A semi-formal dress code must be observed by students, parents, and guest.
2. The processional march will begin at exactly 2:30 PM. Those who will come in late will not be allowed to join the processional march.
3. Each candidate is assigned to his/her proper place in the order of procession and seating arrangement.
No one is allowed to alter or exchange places.
4. Children below 10 years old are strictly not allowed inside the venue.
5. Smoking and eating are not allowed during the event.
6. No one will be allowed to take photos (whether camera or video cam) in the restricted areas during the ceremony. The university photographer and documentation committee are the only persons allowed to
take photos/videos.
7. All cellphones should be switched to mute or silent mode.
8. During the ceremony, courtesy and proper decorum will be strictly observed to maintain the solemnity of the affair.
9. Loud and prolonged conversations are not allowed inside the venue.
10. Horsing or fooling around is strictly discouraged while marching in to the hall. Graduates are discouraged from stopping to greet relatives or visitors along the way. Everyone is expected to march properly.
11. Academic gowns and caps must be returned to the supplier immediately after the event.
12. Parking is available on a “First Come, First Serve Basis”.
The observance of the above-listed instructions will undoubtedly ensure that the ceremony will be a well-managed, solemn and memorable one.
