Logging in to ClinicalKey and ClinicalKey for Nursing 1. Via library website
a. Go to https://www.dlshsi.edu.ph/academics/romeo-p-ariniego-md-library/online-resources/. Click ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing
For faculty and students
o Choose Microsoft Azure (Office 365) Sign in option
§ If this is your first time to use your Microsoft Office 365 account in the session, enter your Microsoft Office 365 username and password then click Sign in. Once signed in, you would be able to view the PDF or HTML full text.
§ If you have already signed in to the LMS, this will automatically redirect you to the PDF or HTML full text.
For interns, residents, and other members of DLSMHSI
o Choose OpenAthens sign in option. Enter the email used to create your OpenAthens account and your nominated password.
2. Via OpenAthens portal
a. Log in to my.openathens.net.
For faculty and students:
Look up De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. Choose the Institute’s names from the matching institutions listed. Enter your Microsoft Office 365 username and password then click Sign in.
For interns, residents, and other members of DLSMHSI, enter the email used to create your OpenAthens account and your nominated password.

b. The list of databases is listed in the Home tab. Click ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing.

3. Activate your account and enable Remote access. Activation of account is needed to download book chapters and export multimedia resources.
a. Activate your account by clicking the Activate link and filling out the Activation Form.
b. You would know if you have successfully activated your account if you see your name in the upper right portion of the screen.
c. Activate your remote access. Enter your institutional email and follow the instructions on how to activate it from your email.
4. Searching resources
a. You may search resources using the search box. Use the drop down to choose the type of material you wish to access.
b. You may also browse the by title or material.
5. Accessing ebooks
a. Search for the topic in the search box and set the resource type to Books.
b. Or you can browse by book title then choose by specialty or do a title search.
c. You may download the chapter in PDF if available, save in your folder, print, or mark as favorite.
Note: You need to activate your account and enable remote access to download book chapters and export multimedia resources.
6. Accessing journal article
a. Search for the topic in the search box and set the resource type to Journal. You can also browse by journal title and refine by specialty or do a title search.
b. Click the title to view the article. You may download the article in PDF if available, save in your folder, print, or mark as favorite.
7. Accessing multimedia resources (images, tables, illustrations)
a. Search for the topic in the search box and set the resource type to Multimedia.
b. You can also browse by title and refine by specialty or do a title search.
c. Select a multimedia to open. You can export it to PowerPoint, email, print, or mark as favorite.
Note: You need to activate your account and enable remote access to download book chapters and export multimedia resources.
8. Accessing videos
a. Search for the topic in the search box and set the resource type to Multimedia. Or you can also browse by title and refine by specialty or do a title search.
b. Click a video to view. You can email, print, or mark as favorite.
