εε´ : £µª³¼oε °rµ¦Â®nµ¦Á¦¸¥¦¼o ABSTRACT
The objectives of the research were : 1) to study the level of the leadership skills of the administrators of the Krabi Primary Schools, 2) to examine the level of the schools’ potential to become learning organizations, and 3) to analyse the areas of the administrators’ leadership skills which affect the schools to become learning organizations. The sample group consisted of 488 administrators and teachers in the 144 schools. Questionnaires with the reliability level of 0.95 were used to collect the data. The statistics employed to analyse the collected data included percentage, frequency, means, S.D., and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results of the study revealed that : 1) The level of the administrators’
leadership skills of the schools was found to be high in the areas of transforma- tional leadership, and transactional leadership. 2) The level of the schools’
potential to become learning organizations was also found to be high.
3) The areas of the administrators’ leadership skills which were found to be highly related to the schools’ potential to become learning organizations included
the transformational leadership, and transactional leadership at the level of 0.01. These leadership skill areas could also predict the schools’ potential to become learning organizations at the level of 54%.
