ENHANCEMENT OF RESILIENCE AND SELF-DISCUSSION FOR MARRIED WOMEN: DEVELOPMENT OF ASSESSMENT METHOD AND STUDY OF EFFECTIVENESS. The objectives of this research are: (1) to develop a Resilience Scale and Self-Advocacy Scale for abused women; and (2) to examine the effectiveness of the Applied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for abused women after the experiment and after 1-3 months. Phase One was to develop the Resilience Scale and Self-Advocacy Scale for battered women.
The participants were 400 battered women from the One Stop Crisis Center (hospital branch), divided into two groups, 200 people for exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). In the second phase, a randomized control trial design was used to test the effectiveness of applied cognitive-behavioral therapy with 60 battered women, with 30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. Phase 2 results showed that battered women who received treatment had greater resilience and self-advocacy at 1-3 months (p<0.01) with an effect size of 0.984.
