ABSTRACT

This research was aimed at studying the construction of female image in Thai award novels in the year 8.E.2550-2559. The female's image was applied, to analyzing content and pres€nt through Analyical Description. It was found that the construction of female's image in the 9 stories of Thai award novels in the year B.E. 2550-2559 were 4 images. 1) the construction of ^physical image, it was found that the mostly actresses was the female ideal: slender and well-favored. They had the habit, mood and thinking as though female that they had feeling love, greed, angered and illusion similar to female in Thai society. They almost graduated in bachelor's degree. 2) ^The construction of background image, the family institution had an important to continually image's development and personality roles. 3) The construction of 3 motivation and attitude which are a positive attitude. negative attitude and indifferent attitude. All of this had a congmence with an actresses' background.4) The construction oflanguage, gesture and the novelists made them had a congnrence with the physical image and background. The actress image was matched up for causing of realistic characters. These cause of flavor to the novel till ^was
