Academic counseling is a scientific method for caring for university students in all scientific, social, psychological and cultural aspects. It also means directing advice to everyone who needs it. Because of the importance of counseling in the student’s academic career, counseling is always useful. Whenever the counseling advice is issgivenued by a faculty member with great experience in the fields of academic and student guidance and counseling, its results are beneficial to university students.
The Academic and Student Counseling Center at the university works through an annual plan to develop the skills of academic advisors at the university to develop the experiences, knowledge and skills they have, which helps students obtain the best areas of guidance and counseling from the academic advisor, and academic counseling stems from the belief that everyone has been granted by God a lot of potentials. The academic advisor helps students to know many of these capabilities and facilitates them to use them in the event that they may encounter problems or obstacles, which will achieve success and excel in their studies - God willing -. And then the strength of their belonging to the university increases, so they contribute efficiently and competently to the achievement of its mission in community service.
