The establishment of this holistic code of ethics is a crucial step towards the development of Effat University. Effat University is a multicultural environment with members - faculty, researchers, staff and students - from every continent. The purpose of Effat University's Code of Ethics is to assist faculty, staff and students in identifying and resolving ethical issues that may arise while working with Effat University.
The Effat University Code of Ethical Conduct is an instructional, non-instructive handbook of general principles governing human interaction. The Code has been created in accordance with other policies that Effat University has in place. Does what I say or do conform to the eight pillars of Tarbawyyat Effat of Effat University.

THE CODE OF ETHICAL CONDUCT AUTHORITIES

THE ETHICS COMMITTEES
First: Contribute to the development of the University's Code of Ethical Conduct, its policies and procedures. Second: Ensure overall compliance with the Effat University Code of Ethical Conduct and its respective policies and procedures. Develop mechanisms that assess compliance-related risks that may disrupt the University's strategic and operational goals, objectives and plans.
Regularly review the University's compliance with ethical codes, policies and procedures in all of its conduct. Establish an appropriate system of delegation to ensure that due consideration is given to the delegation of discretionary responsibility within the board's area of responsibility. Submit detailed reports and recommendations on the results of the investigation to the University's Senior Ethics Committee.
The Higher University Ethics Committee and the University Council make the final decision on selection. Determine the mechanisms that will ensure that the University effectively communicates its ethical codes, policies and procedures taking into account feedback sought from stakeholders. Recommend 'safe' mechanisms such as hotlines to ensure confidentiality and discrete reporting of incidents of misconduct.
Compile a list of common violations and misconduct and possible disciplinary actions for each. Develop mechanisms to ensure that violations and misconduct of the same nature receive consistent disciplinary decisions. Ensure that disciplinary provisions do not differentiate between those who violate codes and policies and those who cover up violations.
HANDLING VIOLATIONS OF THE EFFAT UNIVERSITY CODE OF ETHICAL CONDUCT
Any of the previously mentioned methods of notification is considered sufficient for the person to appear before the ethics committee. Deduct from the salary if the deducted amount does not exceed one third of the monthly salary and lasts no more than 3 months' salary. The appointed committee notifies the member(s) in writing of the committee's decision within two calendar days after receiving the University Ethics Committee's final decision.
Members of Effat University have the right to appeal the Board's decision in writing within one calendar month (30 days) from the date of notification of the decision to the University's Senior Ethics Committee, which must be approved by the President. After one calendar month of the appeal period, the Office of the President shall circulate the decision of the University's Higher Ethics Committee. In cases where additional time is required for the investigation, the committee shall apply in writing to the University's Higher Ethics Committee for an extension of the submission deadline.
The written investigation report, together with the committee's decision, will be forwarded to the Higher University Ethics Committee for final approval. The Student Ethics Committee notifies the student(s) in writing of the Committee's decision within two calendar days of receiving the final decision of the High Ethics Committee, which is approved by the President of Effat University. The student has the right to appeal the decision of the Commission in writing within one calendar month (30 days) from the date of notification of the decision to the High Commission of University Ethics.
After the expiry of the one calendar month (30 days) appeal period, the Office of the President circulates the decision of the High Commission of University Ethics. The student, faculty, researcher or staff of Effat University, affected by the decision of the High Committee of University Ethics, has the right to appeal within one calendar month from the notification of the decision of the designated committee. The purpose of appeal procedures is to provide the offender with an opportunity to raise questions.
If the complaint contains substantive evidence of a wrong decision, the Higher Ethics Committee and the appointed Ethics Committee review the decision based on the new information. Decision of ethics commissions The recording of the proceedings is recorded and kept in the president's office as an official record of the proceedings. The decision, the evidence, and the revised decision, if any, shall be recorded in writing and shall state each allegation of alleged misconduct and the findings of the appointed Ethics Committee and any recommended sanctions and shall be kept in the file of the same hearing.
