Congratulations

We congratulate Dr. Mohamed Gad from SDS department for obtaining the first place for the highest published researcher according to the colleges and according to the track and the tenth place in the highest citation.

Congratulations to Dr. Ahmad Al-Thobity from SDS department and Mr.

Soban Khan from DE department for obtaining the fourth place and tenth place, respectively.

Congratulations to COD students Mr. Abdullah Al-Jami and Mr. Ali Al-Khalaf for winning fourth place in the best student research concept presentation.

Congratulations to Dr. Suliman Shahin from PDS department won the award for the best scientific lecture in the invisalign scientific symposium.

Summer Research Program

The summer research program at COD began with an introductory lecture on the program by Dr. Maria Ibrahim.

A lecture ‘Journey of a Researcher’ by Dr. Abdulrahman Balhaddad, in which his career as a researcher and his research experiences was presented. Dr.

Balqis Gaffar and Dr. Mana' Al-Abbas gave lectures on ‘The Difference Between Manuscript and Proposal’ and ‘How to Reference’, respectively, followed by workshops.

Dr. Fahad Hegazi and Dr. Balqis Gaffar gave lectures on ‘Introduction Writing’

and ‘Methodology Writing’, respectively, followed by a workshop. Dr.

Abdulrahman Balhaddad gave lectures on ‘How to choose a Journal for Publication & Benefits of Publishing your Research’ and ‘How to Design your Research Poster’, followed by workshops.

Dr. Fahad Hegazi gave a lecture on ‘Statistical Analysis’ and Dr. Maria

Ibrahim gave lectures on ‘Abstract Writing’ and ‘How to Analyze and Present your Data’, followed by workshops. Dr. Balqis Gaffar delivered lectures on

‘Introduction to Statistics’, in which she explained how to use the SPSS program and ‘Research Ethics and Guidelines’, followed by workshops.
