There is also an increase in the number of secondary school graduates in Sakaka and other neighboring cities, so the program offers them a chance to become electrical engineers and contribute to the evolution of the country. The Department Committee will also review the syllabi of the courses to ensure that the department's needs are met. Reviewing and coordinating with the English department to make the required courses effective for fulfilling the goals of the program.

Review and coordinate with the Computer department and the college of medicine to make required courses effective with program objectives. The first point aligns with excellent educational outcomes of the university's mission, while the second aligns with excellent educational outcomes and societal benefits. Develop laboratory skills and the ability to use modern analysis and design techniques and modern equipment to solve practical engineering problems.

Other than projects or assignments within individual courses) (A copy of the requirements for the project must be attached.). Furthermore, work will be directed to improvise and build on the lean version of the prototype. A student's ability to integrate the social and environmental effects of the project into the proposed engineering solution.

The student's ability to compile, write and present the completed project work in the form of a project report. Students receive a list of approved projects and indicate their preferences on a form that they submit to the project committee. Each faculty member and students submit a list of project ideas to the project committee at the beginning of the semester.

The first progress review of the project is carried out after four weeks of project assignment to a student group. First enter the appropriate and measurable learning outcomes required in each of the learning domains.

Learning Resources, Facilities and Equipment

Within the Department of Electrical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering to provide modern learning resources for EE courses, the administrators of the electrical engineering program prepared several procedures that were followed by the faculty and teaching staff for the planning and purchase of textbooks, reference and materials. other resources including electronic and web-based resources. Each year the faculty is also invited to suggest new book titles and references to the college library committee. The instructor (on personal initiative) ensures that the books are current and cover most of the topics in the syllabus.

The faculty member regularly advises students on the reference material to be kept in the library and the importance of accessing the university database which allows access to most of the global publication databases. Within the framework of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering to provide the modern learning resources for the EE courses, the administrators of the electrical engineering program carried out procedures followed by EE staff for evaluating the adequacy of textbooks, reference - and other resource materials. The instructor (by personal initiative) ensures that the books are current and contain most of the topics covered in the syllabus.

The instructor recommends changing the textbook or adding a reference book in the course report at the end of the semester. The student can get electronic version of the required textbook from the digital library and they can get or search for a particular textbook by asking the librarian.

  • Program Evaluation and Improvement Processes

The results of the assessment and evaluation process are finally used for continuous improvement of the program. In this regard, at the end of the EE courses, formal written surveys aimed at the learning outcomes of the program are required of the students. The graduate survey contains questions that directly target each of the Program's learning outcomes.

An alumni survey and employer survey are filled out by the alumni and employers respectively which directly target each of the Program learning outcomes. To ensure the achievement of the program learning outcomes, a variety of assessment tools as discussed were used. At the end of each semester, the faculty member is expected to assess the achievement of course learning outcomes (CLOs) as mentioned in the course specifications, and then the achievements of the relevant program learning outcomes according to the CLOs/PLOs mapping.

The impact of the proposed corrective measures on the achievement of results is evaluated at the end of the next semester. To this end, the Quality Academic Accreditation Coordinator in the EE Department collects portfolios and course reports, and the Evaluation and Analysis Committee reviews the course reports to include potential suggestions and improvements from faculty members.
