B. Course Objectives and Learning Outcomes
1. Course DescriptionIn this course, the students will learn about the medically important viral disease. This course's emphasis will be on the viral diseases and their clinical presentation, pathogenesis, modes of transmission, laboratory diagnosis, prevention, and control.
2. Course Main Objective
• Define principles of virus’s structure, immunology and pathogenesis.
• Develop knowledge of virus’s and their relevance to infectious diseases.
• Understand the principles of prevention and treatment of viral infection in humans.
