Abstract: The concept of logistics and logistics services is still quite new in Vietnam even though they have appeared for decades in the world. From 2005, Vietnam has had regulation of logistics service defini- tion and logistics activites. However, logistics compa- nies have been quite confised in evaluating business performance and logistics performance of the compa- nies. This paper introduces the logistics performance metrics to Vietnam logistics companies to apply and evaluate as well as manage theirown logistics activities.
