ABSTRACT
The study was conducted to determine optimal protein requirements at three lipid levels for clown knifefish fingerling (Chitala chitala) 2,42 g innitial weight. The experiment -was set up with 12 dietary treament, including four dietary protein levels (35%, 40%, 45%, and 50%) and three dietary lipid levels (6%, 9%, and 12%) in 8 M'eeks The results showed that survival offish was not affected by either dietary protein or lipid levels. Specific growth rale (SGR) offish increased with increasing protein levels up to 45%, hcru'ever SGR offish decreased in treatments of 50% dietary protein. The best growth and feed conversion ratio (FCR) results offish fed the 45% protein with 6% lipid were not significantly different fiom those of fish fed 40% protein with 9% lipid, but significantly different from with remaining treatments. The diets containing 40% — 45% protein matching 9%-6% lipid would be suitable for optimum growth and effective protein utilization of clown knifefish fingerling.

Thi nghiem duac thuc hien trong 8 tudn gdm 12 nghiem thuc thiic an vdi 4 muc protein (35%, 40%. 45%_ vd 50%) vd 3 muc lipid (6%, 9% vd 12%). Kit qud thi nghiem cho thdy hdm lugng protein va lipid klidc nhau trong thtic dn khdng dnh hirdng din ti I? sdng cua cd. Tdc do tdng trudng cua cd gia tdng theo hdm luang protein trong thuc dn, tuy nhien khi hdm lucmg thuc dn 50% protein thi sinh tnrdng cua cd gidm. 2 PHL'^ONG PHAP NGHIEN ClTU 2.1 Bo tri thi nghiem
Thi nghiem dugc thuc hien ttong 36 bl nhua (100 L/be). nudc chdy ttan va sue khi lien tuc. Ca thdt lat cdm cd khdi lugng tmng binh ban ddu la 2.42 g/con dugc bd tti vdi mat do 30 con/bl. Thi nghiem dugc bd tri hoan lodn ngdu nhien, mfii nghiem thiic tiiuc an lap lai 3 lan, Thdi gian thi nghiem Id 8 tudn.
Thi nghiem gdm cd 12 nghiem thuc vdi 4 mdc protein: 35%; 40%; 45%; 50% va 3 mirc lipid 6%, 9% va 12%, tuong iing vdi 3 miic nang lugng 18, 19 vd 20 KJ/g. (Bang 1).
Nguyen lieu che bien thuc an chinh la bpt ca, bdt dau nanh, bdt mi. Thiic an dugc phdi trgn, ep vien kich cd 1,5-2 mm, sdy khd va bdo quan d nhiet do -20''C ttong sudt qua trinh thi nghiem.

3 K E T QUA VA THAO LUAN 3.1 Tylfis^ng

Kit qua ty le song cua cd that lat cdm tirong tu ket qua nghien ciiu cua Le Nggc Dien et al, (2006) tten cd that lat (Notopterus notopterus), khi an thuc an cd ham Iugng protein khac nhau, ty le sfing dat 57% - 65% va khfing cd su khac biet giiia cdc nghiem thiic. Ket qua cho thdy FCR d nghiem thuc 4 5 % protein-9% lipid (1,72) la thap nhat, ke den la nghiem thuc 40% protein- 9% lipid (1,75) va nghiem thiic 45% protein- 6% lipid (1,76), khac biet cd y nghTa thfing ke (p <0,05) so vdi cac nghiem thiic cd ham lugng protein 35% va 50%.
