Analysing and mapping climate change vulnerability index: A case study in Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province
Abstract
Climate change tends to increase tendency and severity recently in Mmh Hoa district. This paper constructs a system of indicators evaluating the level of vulnerability to climate change based on the IPCC approach to identify 'hotspot' areas for policy interventions.
The findings show an increasing level of exposure, decreasing the tendency of sensitivity.
and slight improvements in adaptive capacity to climate change in many areas. The level of vulnerability to climatic variability and change remains at a high level, even some improvements have been observed. That high level associated with high poverty rate and low-level of infrastructure may lead to severe impacts of climatic change. Especially, Tan Hoa, Thuong Hoa. and Hoa Son communes are the policy-prioritized areas to increase community capacity to cope with ongoing climatic risks.

Phuang phdp nay da dupc dp dyng trong nhieu nghien ciiu cua cdc tdc gid hen the gidi. Cu thd nhu, Dong & cdng sy (2017) phan tich miic dp dd bi tdn thucmg vdi bien ddi kbi bau cho trudng hgp eanh tac lua mi d Trung Qude va ehi ra dugc sy nhgy cam ciia nang suat thu hogch vdi thay ddi ciia cac yeu td nhu lupng mua, Kel qud cho thdy thay ddi ciia cdc chi sd ve khi hdu da cd Idc dpng nhdt djnh den su suy gidm san lugng. 3. Sor liTffc vl dja ban nghi§n ciru
Minh Hda la mdt huyen midn nui reo cao ndm ve phia Tay Bac cua tinh Quang Binh. Todn huyen cd 16 xa, thj trdn ndm gpn trong gidi han luu vuc thugng ngudn sdng Gianh va Rao Nan. Theo sd lieu tdng hgp tir Nien gidm Thdng ke huyen Minh Hda tir nam 2010 den 2017, tdng ddn sd ciia cd huyen la 50.708 ngudi, vdi mat dp trung binh la rdt thap, 30
ngudi/km2. Phdt trien san xuat ndng nghiep d huyen Minh Hda chu yeu Id rimg va mot sd cay hdng ndm nhu Ilia, ngd, sdn lac. Dien tich cac logi cay lau ndm khac chi chiem mgt phdn tuang ddi nhd.

Xem xet chi tiet cac nban td, chiing tdi nhdn thay rang ty le ddt dugc tudi tieu chii dgng va chi sd da dang hda tang nhanh; ket bap vdi lao ddng ndng nghiep, ty trgng thu nhdp tir ndng nghiep, vd dien tich hoang hda gidm manh trong giai doan 2010-2017 cd tdc ddng tich cue ldm gidm miic dp nhay cam vdi bien ddi kbi hdu d vimg nghien cim,
Xet vd gia trj tuyet ddi, Ddn Hda va Trpng Hda vdn la 2 xa cd miic dp nhay cdm vdi bien ddi khi hdu cao nhdt, tiep dd Id Minh Hda, Tdn Hda, vd Thupng Hda. So sdnh qua Ihdi gian, cdc xd nay ciing la cdc xa cd miic dp nhay cam cao trong cd bai nam 2010 va 2017. Nhin ehung, gia trj cac chi sd nay d cac xa khdng cd sy bien ddng qud ldn, dao ddng trong khoang (0,298; 0,676), ngoai tni thj hdn Quy Dgt.
