A Russian-Jewish Music Concert
Of interest to the large number of Jewish patrons of the famous Corner Lounge in Johannesburg is the hold- ing of another concert on Monday evening next, the 31st inst., of Russian-Jewish music arranged by Julio Della Rosa and his splendid or- chestra.
Rich musical fare will be given.
Among the items is an aria from the opera "La Guive" by Halevy. By special request, Miss Vic Salassa will sing "Kol Nidrei," by Russoto. There will be saxophone solos of Yiddish folk-songs arranged and played by Mr. H. Luxemburg, and a number of Russian Gipsy songs arranged by Mr.
Goldberg, the well-known 'cellist, will be heard.
