" L ittle Nellie K elly" at Metro
That delightful musical . tage show. "Little Nellie Kelly," which was one of Broadway's outstanding successes. has now been adapted for the screen, and is to be seen at the Metro this week. Retaining all the charm and humour of the orig ... nal stage play, as well as its lilting songs and melodies, the film version leaves nothing to be desired in the way of attractiveness. A romantic comedy~
drama of the New York Irish, the picture is simple but appealing in its story. A splendid cast appears in this outstanding production, with the chief burden falling on Judy Garland, George Murphy, Charles Winnige ·, and Douglas McPhail.
