Sejalan dengan mulai pulihnya perekonomian dunia yang relatif lambat, harga Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) pada 2012 tercatat rata-rata USD112,73 per barel, sedikit di atas rata-rata ICP 2011 yaitu USD111,54 per barel, namun pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia sebesar 6,23% mendorong permintaan energi di dalam negeri, di samping itu permintaan produk migas global tetap mengalami kenaikan yang memberikan kontribusi pada Perseroan.
Kinerja keuangan Perseroan 2012 secara keseluruhan lebih baik daripada tahun sebelumnya, pendapatan usaha mencapai USD70,92 miliar, naik 5% dibandingkan 2011 sebesar USD67,30 miliar. Dan laba bersih 2012 yang diperoleh sebesar Rp2,76 miliar, naik dari USD2,40 miliar pada 2011. Kenaikan ini diperoleh dari peningkatan volume penjualan migas dan naiknya harga produk Perseroan mengikuti kenaikan harga komoditas. [EC1]
Along with the relatively sluggish global economy recovery, the Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) averaged at USD112.73 per barrel in 2012,which was slightly higher than the average ICP of USD111.55 per barrel recorded in 2011. At the same time, Indonesia’s economy grew by 6.23% during the year, driving demands for energy in the domestic markets, while global demand for oil and gas products also continue to rise, which contributed to the Company’s performance.
Overall, the Company’s recorded an improvement in financial performance in 2012 compared to the prior year, with operating revenues of USD70.92 billion, up 5% from those in 2011 of USD67.30 billion, and net income of USD2.76 billion in 2012, up from USD2.40 billion in 2011. This achievement reflects the increase on sales volume as well as higher price of the Company’s products in line with the increase in commodity prices. [EC1]

Dari sisi kinerja ekonomi, Pertamina pada tahun 2012 telah sukses mencetak laba bersih tertinggi dalam sejarahnya yakni sebesar USD2,76 miliar, serta dividen yang dibayarkan Pertamina pada tahun 2012 mencapai Rp7,26 triliun. Nilai ini adalah porsi terbesar dividen dari seluruh Badan Usaha Milik Negara dengan total dividen sebesar Rp31,23 triliun. Hal ini melampaui harapan Kami.
Dari sisi ketahanan energi dalam negeri, Pertamina mampu untuk melakukan 3 peran strategis bagi Negara, yaitu memberikan layanan umum terkait BBM PSO ke seluruh pelosok Indonesia, memastikan ketersediaan suplai stok energi nasional dalam hal ini adalah BBM untuk jangka waktu 22 hari ke depannya, serta melakukan pengembangan energi baru dan terbarukan (EBT) terutama untuk pembangkit geothermal di wilayah Kamojang dan Lahendong yang dioperasikan oleh Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE).
Untuk kinerja sosial, Pertamina sebagai BUMN tidak hanya memiliki kewajiban untuk memberikan laba perusahaan setiap tahunnya namun berkontribusi dalam memberdayakan masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitarnya melalui Progam Kemitraan dan Bina Lingkungan (PKBL) maupun program CSR. In terms of economic performance, Pertamina in 2012 managed to record its alltime highest net profit, amounting to US$ 2.76 billion, and in 2012, the amount of dividends paid by Pertamina reached Rp 7.26 trillion.
