Decision Making

Dalam hal kebijakan, Pemangku Kepentingan yang memiliki kekuasaan atau pengaruh yang besar, dapat melakukan intervensi terhadap keputusan maupun gagasan baru yang diambil perusahaan. Misalnya, melalui tekanan dari legislatif yang dirasa tidak berpihak, dapat menganulir keputusan Direksi dalam penyesuaian harga produk yang diperuntukkan bagi masyarakat banyak; maupun lembaga swadaya masyarakat yang memprotes kebijakan perusahaan melalui pengaruh terhadap lembaga lainnya semisal Pemerintah, yang dapat menganulir atau menekan perusahaan untuk membuat suatu kebijakan lainnya. In terms of policy, the Stakeholders have great power or influence, able to intervene in the decisions or new ideas taken of the company. For example, through pressure of legislative which is perceived impartial, can annul the Board of Directors’ decision in the adjustment of product prices that cater the public; and non-governmental organizations which protest the company’s policy through the influence of other institutions such as the Government, which can annul or force the company to establish other policies.

Untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnisnya, Pertamina juga melakukan beberapa komitmen dengan Pemangku Kepentingan penting eksternal lainnya di tahun 2013, antara lain (1) Penandatanganan MoU antara Pertamina dengan Asian Development Bank (ADB) dan Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) terkait pemanfaatan Carbon Capture and Storage Pilot Activities (2) Penandatanganan kesepakatan antara Pertamina dengan TNI AD terkait kerjasama pembinaan teritorial untuk pengamanan aset negara.
